The eleven KS/Kulshan Studios preset packs (except Mystical Psytrance) are very rare, never see around or on sister site.
It would be interesting to try them as soon as the new Unusual Suspect's plug comes out... waiting.

 

Since there's so much interest in getting ALL the JP80x0 soundbanks, why don't we do a group buy?
First, let's make a list of all the soundbanks, and we mark the ones we have and the ones we're missing.
Then we buy them. What do you think?

The new virtual synth is almost finished, it's currently in beta and some bugs are still being fixed.
I think it will be like Nodal Red—about a month until release.

The possibility to convert Arturia Jup 8000 patches to JP 80x0 patches would be very nice. So we can have a few more banks. Can you do that with this converter thing too?

 

No, unfortunately, that's not possible. You'll need to install and play the Arturia JUP-8000 V!

Maybe DanCrg can update his .mid .syx .pat to Jp8k converter and revert from .Jp8k to .mid or .syx, that would be awesome. That way there would be more banks available.

 

Ok that’s good, I just kinda forgot when it originally first appeared, I thought it was from like later in November last year but word of its existence and alpha/beta footage had existed since the spring… if it’s another kontrast situation I only have to wait another month or so that’s fine. Should probably search the “museum” for confirmation of these dates and find the original Nodal Red thread cause I think that’s where we first knew about it.

 

Checked the release, the first post on this forum here was from August last year, then there are skins which I remember came with the first release in December that year. Could’ve been that entry was a deleted beta version and we would later update to a stable release because how else would skins for a plugin that’s not out for another couple months already be available to download? I don’t think I have the original release but it definitely was longer to wait…

That shows the earliest available one that hasn’t been deleted, it’s possible that there was another version before that or the wait has been longer, we’ve known about it since August last year and that article was probably from when it was almost ready to release. I could’ve sworn there was a version available since December cause there are skins for this plugin that have been available. Only way to have definitive proof is for me to dig up if I have a version from December when it was likely first posted to the museum before deletion.

Now all this is getting me wanting to go back and dive through this monster again

Yeah, they must’ve had prerelease versions because if this was from September it means it’s fully possible it was posted to the museum alongside skins for it, but the initial upload was deleted. Who knows how many of us had early builds from before the release? I just know the moment I see a JP8080 in that right column I immediately download for testing and that’s when video demos become easily available, but since this is hardware accurate I can still just watch the hardware demos instead and still receive the same charge

 

we have nord lead 2 emu, access virus and soon JP.. that is amazing. and the vengeance sound soundsets are really good, especially the incubation series. feels unnesesary to buy hardware virus now when you got basically the same

 

I thought Supernova II was next so this is a big surprise.
