Which Android APP do you recommend for
creating, composing retro and modern electronic music?

I'm looking for something that's easy to use
and has a wide range of Synthesizer sounds.

    For Disco, Funk, House.

    (Without AI stuff:
I'm old enough to ask AI sites myself.)

    Thanks.

I'd start with Koala Sampler, just to see how your phone handles audio. Not all of them do, so use that as your benchmark. This is not to say Koala is bad, on the contrary, it's fucking awesome!

The app has an addon, "Samurai Mode", that adds a metric fuckton of features and a simple VA synth (named Quokka). Ok, calling it a "simple synth" kinda gives the wrong impression. See, Koala has insanely good FX + resampling. Lets just say you will not run out of sounds any time soon.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

I've been working with Cubase since 1990,
so I'm trying Cubasis for the first time.

Let's see if I can get used to it (small display).

SunVox is absolutely brilliant regardless of the platform. But as a tracker it really needs a proper keyboard. I have it installed on my iPad and it's only good for playing back tunes (or as a plugin, but that's a different story) unless I've got a keyboard attached. My el cheapo Logitech is fine for this purpose.

PixiTracker by the same developer is great without keyboard though. Sure it's simpler but it's still very capable and wicked fun. The desktop version is free to try out (as is SunVox).

A slightly older piece of software, but I still think it's great and have fond memories of it – Caustic 3.

It's no longer available on Google Play and the company's website has disappeared, but it can still be found in various places online. A Windows version was also created, and it was possible to transfer projects.

In my opinion Cubasis 3 is a freakin Beast on Android with all additional stuff.
The closest experience to PC music production.
They squeezed all the juices out of Android in this app.
    So the good choice!

Also Imaginando DRC is the same proper synthesizer as on the PC version.
It's very good! You can make some sound and record them inside the app then import into Cubasis 3.
Combination of those 2 is very cool!

Also You can do the same with Koala Sampler.
You can create some beat or something in Koala and record it inside the app then import into Cubasis.
Combination of those 3 is everything You need!
Those 3 combined together are freakin killer combine harvester for music production on Android! :dj:
