Hey guys :D So I'm having a problem with Fiedler's Dolby Atmos Composer. I tested it on FL Studio and Ableton. I set up everything correctly (I guess); I even watched some tutorials to guarantee that I did everything correctly, but in both DAWs the connections between BEAM and COMPOSER doesn't show up. Did someone manage to make it work?

More than likely it has something to do with the netblock runtime and possibly the fact that once again the keygen doesn't work correctly. Hopefully there will be a "repack" or it will just end up getting deleted like the R2R SWAM stuff that didn't work either.

That's really sad. I was very hyped by this release, now we'll need to wait a little more.

It is an R2R release, and you should not be so quick to throw in the towel. I checked GPT and this looks like you could easily make some kind of mistake in the setup.

that setup can be a bit confusing the first time because Fiedler’s Atmos Composer requires the BEAM plugin and the COMPOSER standalone app to handshake properly—and the connection won’t just “light up” in the DAW until a couple of things are set right. A few things to double-check:

    1. BEAM vs. COMPOSER roles
    • BEAM: a plugin you load in your DAW on each track or bus you want to send into Atmos.

    • COMPOSER: the standalone renderer (or plugin host version in some DAWs) that receives those beams and does the Atmos routing.
The DAW itself never shows the connections—the handshake shows up inside the Composer window, where you should see active BEAM sources.

    2. Network / Localhost requirements
    • The BEAM ↔ COMPOSER link is essentially a network socket connection on localhost (127.0.0.1).

    • If you have firewall software, aggressive antivirus, or blocked loopback in Windows/macOS, the connection won’t appear.

    • Try temporarily disabling firewall/antivirus, or at least allow Fiedler/Composer apps full local network permissions.
    3. DAW plugin type
    • In FL Studio, make sure you’re loading the correct plugin format (VST3, not VST2). The BEAM plugin only works in VST3 format.

    • In Ableton, also confirm you’re loading the VST3, not AU. AU doesn’t communicate with COMPOSER.
    4. Sample rate & audio engine
    • COMPOSER only operates at certain sample rates (usually 48 kHz is safest).

    • If your DAW is running at 44.1, BEAM may not handshake.
    5. COMPOSER side
    • Open Dolby Atmos Composer standalone.

    • Make sure the audio driver is active and the renderer is “listening.”

    • In the routing matrix, BEAM instances should pop up once the plugins are instantiated in the DAW. If they don’t, it means either the wrong plugin format is loaded, or something is blocking local communication.
    6. Sanity check
    • Load just one stereo audio track in Ableton.

    • Insert BEAM (VST3) as the last insert.

    • Open Composer standalone → check “Sources.”
If nothing shows: it’s almost always firewall / plugin format mismatch / sample rate mismatch.
Question for you: when you open Composer standalone, do you see any BEAM sources show up, or is the list completely empty no matter what? That will help narrow if it’s DAW/plugin side or Composer/network side.

Hi guys, but a lot of Fiedler licenses are missing in the R2R keygen. How did you manage to register the releases?

Spacelab entry in keygen is for Spacelab Interstellar and Spacelab Ignition.
Dolby Atmos Exporter in keygen is for Mastering Console and Dolby Atmos Composer.
Gravitas MDS in keygen is for Gravitas MDS.

Thanks for your help friend clone :)

So I checked every step ChatGPT listed:

    1. I read the R2R.txt and followed carefully every step for the installation. I didn't find it difficult to install. Then my DAWs recognized the plugin and the license is okay.

    2. Could be something about the connections, but it's strange because I don't use ANY antivirus and I turned my WD off.

    3. I only use VST3, I always uncheck the AAX files, and VST2 and AU are not an option on the installer.

    4. I saw this tutorial before starting to use the plugin (
). It showed how to configure the sample rate, and I did it on both DAWs.

    5. I noticed that the composer and beam display audio inside their applications, but I can't hear any sound coming from my DAW. This could be another problem to fix.

    6. Well, I hope my sanity is okay because I checked as the chat said, and nothing worked.

And, to answering your question, yes :/ hahaha there are no sources showing up, no connections, no sound, nothing. Even my dignity went away with my ex-girlfriend (I'm joking, haha)

Well, definitely there is something wrong happening hahaha XD, but I don't know if it's something that I can fix by myself.

I thought that the plugin should work properly by following the instructions on the R2R.txt already, but here we are.

Did you managed to make it work on your DAW?

    No. I am on Mac. But for a plugin with so many different places for an incorrect setting during setup, vs. an R2R release not working correctly;
most people will not guess it is a problem with the release. On another site, about 200 people have downloaded it and there are no complaints about the release.

Installing should be easy, but there are a number of details that could easily cause a problem for you. Example, the network and Localhost requirements mentioned was my guess. R2R also just released Network Block Runtime. I think if you give this release a little time, you will figure it out.

edit: I just looked at the release thread, and the first comment is "requires R2R netblock runtime installation." Did you already install that?

While not a solution for the Fiedler plugin, have you considered using a DAW with "Native" Dolby Atmos support as an alternate solution?

This one a common workflow. Seed/Production tracks in one DAW & Post Production/Mixing in another such as Pro Tools, Sequoia, Digital Performer. If you prefer to use a plug-in suite to do Atmos, more power to you.

Yep, the first thing I did. I even updated to version 2.1 to guarantee it, but it still doesn't work. I'll wait for a new release so I can test it and hope it works well. If not, definitely the problem will be my setup.

Indeed! I wanted to learn Cubase to compose some orchestral tracks like HZ, and I saw that it has Dolby Atmos built in. It's my best alternative, and now I have a good reason to start XD hahaha

Can't connect with Beam. What is going on?
You need to install "TEAM R2R Network Block Runtime v2.1.0-R2R" prior to installation"

The runtime block is what's interfering with the beam and composer, I followed every step, and the beam doesn't "beam" to the composer, the composer window is blank no connections, multiple people have this issue.
the beam and composer communicate via localhost connection, WS2_32.dll is the dll that allows this to happen, and the modified runtime block one must be blocking its own connection to the beam.

If the network block dll has been installed by users, why do you think there is something incorrect about the plugin, rather than the dll itself?
