I think so yes. But I was not talking about Kanadia in that regard. The tune I'm looking for may have been one of those 'one-hit wonders', but unsure. (Maybe that's also why I'm having a hard time finding it.) And maybe kind of disco-sounding, but not as upbeat as some seem to typically be, since it seems like a song about a relationship problem. Any ideas?

Bud Powell Documentary

"Stopforbud" or "Stop for Bud" is a small experimental film that portrays the American jazz pianist Bud Powell. The film includes a concert recording from Montmartre, where Powell's fingers and face are studied in a number of settings while he plays, but without synchronous sound. On the audio side, you can hear Bud Powell playing, and Dexter Gordon tells a few stories about Powell and his importance to jazz at the beginning and end. He died in 1966, relatively soon after the filming of this film.

I'm ok if I don't find it. It's near the end of the lineup of priorities... not that they're always followed in 'the proper' order mind you.

While I was previously aware of your first song, incidentally, I had the chance to listen to the second, which is nice and seems kind of reminiscent of a Dire Straights tune style or two, yes?...

Naturally, some people might lament the lack of 'Mistake Ahead' exit signs on the highway-of-life (or simply not see them through the weather), but then others might take them anyway, at least once in awhile, knowing full well what they warn, if only to know and maybe even to throw a few regret feathers in their caps.
