Hi,

I update to macOS 26.0 Tahoe on MacBook Pro M1

at the moment no big AU problems in Logic.
Korg, Spectrasonics, Roland, U-He, xfer Records, U-JAM, Waves, PluginAlliance, Izoptope and so on seems it works

__maybe other users also can report there problems__

i have found this problems:

FINAL CUT PRO 11.1.1 (hanging by them
Nuro Audio: Supernova
Nuro Audio: Supernova Verb
Arturia: Efx FRAGMENTS

to fix it, I put them in other folder, then restart FCP
there was also others not work but they get recognise by FCP,
and get listet as not working in a list of warnings, but you can turn off this warning and next time its not shown anymore

crashed, its AU validated
the other Arturia works. just turn off in Logics Plugin Manager

for me the new OS 26 Tahoe works better then the previous sequoia.
to be honest the whole computer performs better. it seems that they optimised the OS for the silicon CPUs.

 

I upgraded to Tahoe a few days ago. Zero AU plugins working, Ableton Live crashes, doesn't want to know about Audio Units. I moved all AU plugins to a different folder to test and Ableton opens fine. What's going on with AU?

 

Meanwhile, I dared to upgrade the OS to Tahoe 26. So far, only minor problems:
Little Snitch failed to work - I bought a license for a nightly built version which works on Tahoe <-- solved.
All AU Plugins seem to work flawlessly in legit Logic Pro 11.2, with one exception: Waves Brauer Motion shows a black screen in the UI. I researched, that this issue is connected to outdated Graphics rendering with openGL. Still searching for a solution (not sure, where Waves plugins preferences are stored; as soon as I'll find out, will edit openGL from enabled "1" to "0")
VST3 plugins also load & work perfectly in Steinberg environments (Interestingly enough, I occured the same black screen in the VST3-Brauer Motion UI)

Beyond that - no issues so far.
