How to run the R2R -exe Keygens?

Tried running r2r keygens through Mythic and after running I can't find key files. Does it not work with Mythic?

 

wine is less hassle than crossover for just .exe keygens

 

i've been on crossover, it always just works for me(m3 ultra Mac studio, m4 max mbp, tahoe)

 

Hi guys. Crossover has been insta-crashing for me this past week. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. Even tried to buy the real thing. Same thing. Any thoughts? Macbook Pro Latest Sequoia w/M4Pro. Thank you.

At the beginning you could need some WIN c++ or Dotnet libraries, but they can be downloaded everywhere from the net and installed in the W11 Whisky bottle.

 

Thanks. I tried whisky but it seems to want to do downloads and then when it's done downloading it just wants to to download everything again. Thoughs?

 

Basically it says whiskywine not downloaded. I try to download it. It downloads. Then nothing will run.

 

Maybe the problem is in a firewall, or other access limiting features like Gatekeeper or Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access + Files & Folders?

Another way is also..... to use UTM and install a Windows in it. ---> utm virtual machine windows 11

Crossover should not have full disk access. But if you firewall Crossover, especially right when you first install it; it will go out to the web and access some Windows dependency files. For keygens from R2R, you should have the correct Visual C++ runtimes installed into the bottle. They usually make mention of it in a folder called Runtimes with just a text file inside it. You need the ARM64 one at top of the page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/c...-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version

Gatekeeper should not be any problem for Crossover, because you already had it installed. Gatekeeper would prevent you from running the installer; but once installed it should not cause a problem.

You might just need to get rid of all the files necessary to consider it an actually "clean install". Use Find Any File for tracking down any junk prior versions may have installed.

Also, before you consider your actual problem being Crossover itself; do not launch it by doing right click+open on the keygen. You can do that when you have it working, but for now you should launch Crossover.app directly from your /applications folder. If it doesn't crash until you load the keygen, it is only related to the keygen and your problem is your firewall or the VisualC runtimes being not installed into the bottle. If you are using Little Snitch, switch it to Alert Mode before you open Crossover or try installing the keygen. You can set temp rules and switch it back to deny if you want later.
