I paid for a premium sub and then found out fast how bad it is. the stuff I "made" sounds interesting and yeah I did all the latest trendy prompts and all that foogaziis, but then when I download stems and try to slap it all onto a project its so freaking out of whack it aint even funny. like wtf. bunch of yahoos playin at music is all I can say. off time, out of key, washy noise, rapidly changing bpms, even the new midi is whackadoolyshitbrained and did I mention the stems thing is a complete disaster. its sooo fccccn bad man. ai has ideas, yes, but it sounds like shit when you play it proper. also I just found out that anything I make in my "premium" account still has the suno tag embedded inside without any way for me to remove or pay to have it removed? wtf. so wtf again everything I just did and paid for you own?????? stupid me you and us.

Sometimes you pay for a negative experience, it's a salutary shock. Surely you won't need or use AI for the rest of your life. Invest the AI money in more useful things like hardware or textbooks! a few months ago i had to make for work a "quick summer vibes song;... you know, one of those with a chill guitar; 30 seconds should be enough";

"damn", i thought; "sounds like i could use suno; i dont want to waste time working on this stuff"

- open suno, waste countless credits and around 20 minutes to finally find something decent; slap it in the daw, add some drums... something is wrong...
- waste another 15 minutes till i found the problem; the suno loop was slowly going up in bpm... Wut? Why?
- get annoyed, keep the beat, delete everything else, open ample, write basic chords and a super simple melody; took me around 30 minutes to get a way better result with and impeccable full body guitar sound and a decent mix

Suno is literally a scam

V5 is broken. IMHO everything always seemed broken or faulty (maybe because the first goal of the dev wasn't sound or optimization). But it's defo getting worst, instead of improving. And quite honestly, i don't care, especially if you're like that guy who likes making shady business and agreements, promising improvements that will never come. I will watch that boat sink witha smile on my face.

 

In Suno, you can load the track into the editor and choose a constant BPM. Easy as that.

i found the sound quality in V5 is better, but im getting shit results anyways. Copy pasted prompts from 4.5 that delivered exactly what i wanted, and its giving me results not even in the ballpark.

Like feedback on a song / mix? I would think its not too far off actually. Ive already got surprisingly good feedback from just chatgpt even. I think with the speed in which the "AI" sector is moving, we could see a legit tool in just another year or two. Of course theres also likely to be a massive economic bubble burst in the coming years, potentially even next year, and that could put a damper on things for a bit.

only with a paid account at those idiotic webservices you are allowed to claim a copyright (as opposed to the service beeing the rightholder), and in most countries you still wont´ have them. and if you do not have copyrights on something, everyone else may just copy it and sell it themselves.
so what can you actually do there. create creative commons music "made by anonymous" and sell them to whom? spotify listeners? in no more than 2 years spotify will include "suno" (which will kill services like suno), and the end user can create content right at spotify. and then pay for their own non-creation, lol. and fund eks military investments this way.

people paying for pointlessly wasted energy to create useless content in order to kill some time. at the benefit of fascists. what a bright future.
