Hello! You can also find this music of mine on my youtube channel, but I haven't posted it here yet. It's nostalgic analog synthesizer music that evokes the 80s, mixed with a bit of a modern sound. I really like this retro style, I hope you like it too! Please write your opinion and subscribe to my channel! Thank you!

Sounds good, kind of gritty, you know? I felt a kind of electro-synthpop-disco vibe... With a pinch of retrowave vibe, because of its nostalgic, melancholic, and contemplative aesthetic. I liked it, but as a personal observation, you could’ve created a subsection with more contrast [not just that B section at the end of the track, since your piece feels like an A with variations for about 95% of the time — Intro + theme1 + theme and beat + theme and beat with layered accompaniment + synths + beat + bass + (...), you get it?] In your next creation, maybe try inserting a more contrasting section for the sake of variety, because nowadays any AI can make a track like yours, you know?

I think like this: what is this music intended for? A game, a video installation, or is it “absolute” music? If it’s meant to be listened to on its own, I’d think about ways to stand out, you know?

Recently, I listened to an interview with Joe Satriani by Cory Wong, where he said that back in his music student days, when he studied under Lennie Tristano (the father of cool jazz) many of his classmates, who were more technically skilled than him and focused solely on replicating a particular style with precision, ended up not making it in music. At Lennie’s birthday party, where all the students were invited to perform, Satch stopped and thought: damn, my classmates are just faithfully repeating what Lennie taught them.

In short, Satch always thought about how his work could carry his personal mark, even though he wasn’t strictly a jazz musician (he studied jazz theory but didn’t want to be a jazz player), the one who played a style with the most perfection and purity or the fastest gun in the West (blah blah blah), but he managed to stand out precisely because he had his own approach: a compositional style situated within a genre, with its own flavors, leaning toward melodic fusion rock and a little bit of blues, with high expressiveness delivered through refined technique.

In the end, it comes down to:

    1. Have fun/enjoy doing what you do!

    2. What kind of listening experience is your track aiming for?

    3. And what’s your goal as a creator, medium and long term?

Keep creating with courage and curiosity, because your unique voice is what turns sound into artistic and personal expression. Each track is a step in your journey: may it be authentic, intense, full of amazing discoveries... and may you achieve everything you aspire to!

Wow! Thank you so much! You won't believe how right you are :)! I also played jazz for a very long time, but I got tired of the virtuosity, the fast scales, etc. I'm still looking for my style, but I know the direction. I'm very grateful for your comment! Best regards!

Please listen to this too! I'm curious about your opinion. Maybe I managed to achieve what I wanted better than this music.
