Appreciated, PulseWave, though nothing in there. I did try ChatGPT a few months ago about it to no avail either. The responses were about as dismal too. It's definitely a 70s or, at best, early 80s, tune and sung with a female vocalist. Maybe I dreamed it and it doesn't actually exist or I've been channeling my counterpart in a parallel universe. If my inability to find the song starts bothering me more, which it's starting to do, I might pull out more stops... Maybe a university music-history prof might help. Or a counsellor.

I've been looking for two bands for years. I once had both CDs and remembered what the CD covers looked like. Eventually, I found them both. Once by chance, once I remembered the name of one of the bands at night. Here are the 2 missing Bands/Songwriter:
