it's nice, and there is enough subtle production going on where it isn't boring. I think that is due to the almost brass-like tonal parts maintaining progress. It is nice work, I could see it fitting in a film scene involving some kind of wide open setting.

 

Congrats on finishing this song. Sounds cool, relaxed and meditative. It could've been a bit different like drone style where sounds swamp in lots of reverb. Yours has unique lead (blade runner-ish) sound. Ambient can be any type, dark/experimental/drone/space ambient. It's subjective.
