The witches just broke the news: “According to the spying department of witches, PS-3300, SGX-2, TRINITY will be available soon.”

Fantastic investigative work by the witches, bravo!

I'm especially excited about the Trinity, if Korg manages to the V3 version, which included the MOSS-TRI board, that would be a friggin' miracle. Can't wait for the official announcement and more details.

Trinity!? I've been waiting for the day to come! KORG is usually very reliable when it comes to adding all the expansions, with their vsts. Emulations are also 99% accurate unlike the mess of Arturia, Roland, etc. This should be exciting

PS-3300 emulation looks is very exiting

SGX-2 is a piano engine from their workstation keyboards Kronos and Nautilus

Triton and Trinity actually have fairly different presets and sounds, contrary to popular belief. Especially the expansions & MOSS board host different sounds on both units. Triton completely lacks the TR-Rack soundboard (which is rare nowadays!). Trinity also uses different filters (to one's personal preference on which filters are better. For me, the trinity pads are just way better because of this

In general, I agree but if you work in 90s music styles, this is just a godsend.
I skipped Triton VSTi for the same reasons when it was released, and watching a few DnB production videos showed me these 90s workstations have their own charm and they still have some aces up their sleeve.

I am psyched for the Trinity! Though, I too can keep dreaming on... What I'd consider to be a dream is if we got a 01/W upgrade for the M1... Perhaps in the case of WS all the preset/PCM data cards for the Wavestation including the 01/W ones, as well as dedicated user banks to fill in the blanks for WS?

It'd be redundant to make a separate 01/W plugin, but I feel there's untapped potential considering that the 01/W not only has exclusive multisamples, but the gnarly waveshaping capabilities.

Plus, the 'BellShower' preset sounds magical.

I think M1 VSTi has all OSC waveforms of the 01/W hardware the only difference is a waveshaper which Korg didn't implement and some considered it a failed addition for a workstation-type users, but the VSTi has a filter resonance which was absent on both M1 and 01w, it can be a nice sonic replacement for the waveshaper

Not quite all of them, I'm afraid. I tried recreating the 'BellShower' preset for instance, which has an "Aahs" multisample that isn't included in either the M1/T1, Wavestation SR (from a quick glance at the multisamples), or even the Triton. Luckily, I'm able to consult this Google Sheets document which gives an in-depth analysis of which software/hardware contains which sounds.
