There are a number of curious issues with v8 - I've noticed a few libs would not authorize even after running the Add Library app (the modified version of v5.6.0). For most of these I was able to authorize them using Kitty's old script, but now I get errors with that. At present I have two quite recent releases that show up in the libs column but when I try to open their instruments I get a "This instrument belongs to a library that is not installed currently!" error - Leap Soul Choir and Halo Vox. I can certainly live without these, but I'm concerned that the authorization process is getting wonky. Anyone have any insights on this?

this version can't working with RAS3 libs - it replace SNPID (in xml file) with "000"

 

RIght you are, Talula - thanks. I'd forgotten to check those. Changing the xml files the the Service Centre fixed the issue. The modified version of Kontakt v5.6 still seems to work ok with libs that have embedded SNPIDs and no separate nicnt file. I'm curious as to what people are using for authorization if both the options I'd been relying on are no longer fully functional?

I DLd this a while ago but couldn't get the authorization process working. But I've been a bit lazy since other methods were working. Time to try again. Thx.
