    Hi there from France,

I've been hoping for a decent manager for a long time and I found that recently.

    https://sonisto.com/access-manager

To me it seems pretty good.
But here I stumbled upon other threads about Vsts managers and it seems that not many of you think these tools are well done enough to be useful.

This one handles vsts2 and 3 and others.
It checks update and provides link to the rband site. Or even to the login page, or any link you put.

It struggles to sort plugins by brands, I don't really know why. But as you can edit pretty much everything it seems cool anyway. (W.A. Production for example creates several entries with the brand name spelled with "." or without, and the same with spaces. )

Sonisto sales softwares and has a subscription but none of this is required to use the manager. The only option that seems to be off when free is the isolated list of not to date plugins, which is not really a big deal because versions appear on all plugs everywhere.

It can store all login infos for any given brand, and maybe with the provided link log you from the "download button. I can't tell as I haven't put any infos in yet.

I saw they sell Fabfilter and other brands I trust so it may be not that risky to put logins in it.

What do you audio experts over here think ? ^^

    Thanks

PS : I searched a lot before considering posting this, so sorry if it was already here. All vsts shown are legit btw.

Does it send my personal information back to their server? If yes, that is a deal breaker for me.

    I hope they don't !

I posted this here in the hope that some folks over here would tell me what it's worth as I don't fully get all the details of their terms. And others insights of all kinds.

In the Faq they say taht they don't care nor report non legit material if scanned by the manager. Yet these softwares will still indicate their versions and latest versions if possible.

One more thing I found today is that you can batch edit vsts and ath's a good thing.

Here's an extract of their confidentiality terms, maybe you could tell :

    "
    Confidentiality

Confidential Information” means any and all information that is disclosed by either party to the other party, either directly or indirectly, in writing, orally or by inspection of tangible objects, that if disclosed in writing or tangible form is marked as “Confidential” or with some similar designation, or if disclosed orally, is identified as being proprietary and/or confidential at the time of disclosure, or that under the circumstances and nature of the information should reasonably deemed to be confidential. Without limiting the foregoing and regardless of whether identified as being proprietary and/or confidential, you acknowledge that the Site, any Sonisto product, services, or any information you learn during any training or demonstration of the Site, any Materials, information or content that Sonisto makes available through the Site or provides to you regarding the Site, any services performed by Sonisto under these terms or any ancillary or additional agreements, and any derivative works thereof are Sonisto Confidential Information.

Each party agrees (i) not to disclose the Confidential Information of the other party without the disclosing party’s prior written consent, except to its employees and contractors who have a need to know such Confidential Information for purposes of performing such party’s obligations under this Agreement and who are subject to nondisclosure obligations at least as protective as those in these Terms and (ii) to only use the other party’s Confidential Information for the purposes of exercising its rights and fulfilling its obligations under these Terms. The restrictions contained in these Terms will not apply to any Confidential Information that the receiving party can show: (i) was publicly available or otherwise known to the receiving party at the time of disclosure, (ii) subsequently becomes publicly available through no act or omission by the receiving party or any of its employees, agents or contractors, (iii) is or has been independently developed by the receiving party without violation of this Agreement as shown by the contemporaneous written records of the receiving party, or (iv) is lawfully obtained by the receiving party from a third party without any obligation of confidentiality. The receiving party will have the right to disclose any Confidential Information to the extent such disclosure is required by applicable law or court order; provided the receiving party first notifies the disclosing party prior to any disclosure and cooperates with the disclosing party in seeking a protective order or other remedy to prevent the disclosure. Each party acknowledges and agrees that any breach or threatened breach of these confidentiality provisions is likely to cause the disclosing party irreparable harm for which money damages may not be an appropriate or sufficient remedy and the disclosing party is entitled to seek injunctive or other equitable relief to remedy or prevent any breach or threatened breach of these Terms. Such remedy is not the exclusive remedy for any breach or threatened breach of these Terms, but is in addition to all other rights and remedies available at law or in equity.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may disclose Confidential Information to the limited extent such disclosure is required by applicable law, a court of competent jurisdiction or a governmental agency provided: (i) the receiving party first notify the disclosing party if legally permitted to do so; (ii) fully cooperate with the disclosing party in seeing a protective order or other limits on the material disclosed; and (iii) in any event limit the disclosure to the minimum necessary to comply as determined by the receiving party’s legal counsel.
