    Hi you all,

I have bunch of photos to edit. I'm looking for an image-editing suite for Mac OS that can be downloaded, work offline and do the blemish-editing, color balancing, and all the goodies without having to actually use Photoshop and think too hard. Is there a one-stop, one-button (kind of) suite that can handle editing?

Thank you for your replies in advance.

I've settled for Skylum Luminar Neo. It seems to do all the heavylifting in image editing out of sight. It's the kind of approach I was looking for. I'll try it and see how it fares for efficiency and simplicity.

For Photoshop-like edition, there's always Photopea. No need to install Photoshop anymore.

Yes, you're right. In fact, I'm proficient at Photoshop, but sometimes for leisure photos I just need to save time. I've just found Luminar and I like its approach. I asked here 'cause I really trust people's opinions here. At an early search for anything online, you just get biased and/or paid-for opinions.

I was in the same boat a while ago, looking for something that would let me edit my photos without the steep learning curve of Photoshop. I ended up trying Affinity Photo for Mac—it’s super intuitive, has great tools for color balancing and blemish removal, and works offline. It’s a solid one-stop shop for editing without overcomplicating things. Once I edited my photos, I uploaded some of my favorites to a Nixplay digital picture frame, and it’s been awesome seeing them rotate throughout the day.

You should try Movavi Photo Editor for Mac. It works offline, has one-click blemish removal, color correction, and other quick edits without needing Photoshop. Other good options are Photomator or Pixelmator Pro for more features, and Darktable if you want a free alternative.

And carving letters into stone with a hammer and a chisel is good for our overall physical and mental health. These keyboards shape our fingers childlike and weak.

If you’re looking for a simple, offline photo editor for Mac that doesn’t require the complexity of Photoshop, I’d suggest trying Movavi Photo Editor or Luminar Neo. Both are easy to use and handle blemish removal, color correction, and other edits with just a few clicks. Movavi is great if you want quick, one-button results, while Luminar offers a bit more creative control — kind of like how KineMaster makes video editing simple yet powerful.

Take a look at Affinity Studio.
It used to be a powerfull software bundle for editing photos, making vector graphics and doing layout.
The old bundle did cost a bit of money,
but now it's completely free and an all in one Software.
