iZotope Stutter Edit

 

yeah izo stutter would work, so would illformed (dblue) glitch...v 1 is dblue v2 is illformed? I don't get it but its a little easier to use than stutter edit and is like a multitrack sequencer, where stutter edit you play it with midi notes to switch the effects going on. Both are great though.

 

if it sounds organic sometimes it could be done with just a mouse or mapped knob, so you let Glitch1/2 doing stuff and pitching the sample manually... later on pick what works for the track..

It is a very small audio plugin (2mb) and quickly generates various "accidents" like this. It's old, so not scalable or any other things we expect in current modern plugins.

 

If you mean the distorted part that isn't the stutter: sounds like a bitcrusher to me.

It should have both:

Windows_Automaton_120_Installer/$_32_/Automaton.dll: PE32+ executable (DLL) (GUI) x86-64, for MS Windows

The Mac plugin works on Catalina, so you would be good there also. Their Legacy section has a bunch of other plugins, and I haven't tested all that many of them, and none on Windows. BigSeq2 works in MacOS Catalina too. They are kind of waiting on a rainy day.

That is freaking awesome, because I am essentially stuck on Catalina! I already forced an upgrade beyond apple's liking to get that far, I don't think my humble MacBook could handle going to Mac OS 11 Happily accepting M based Macs if anybody is getting rid of them! Of course though, then half my huge software library probably wouldn't work as well if at all, at least not natively
...

 

if it makes you feel better i´m the same with windows 7, i got so much stuff i cant even think about installing 6-7-8 different authorisations softwares, and hw upgrades at some point cant run windows 7 anymore, the latest chipsets for sure so i just chill and focus on what i have, i made a decision not to think about "speed" if i cant make basic stuff sound really really great...if guys back in 2003 with single core made hits, i dont see why being stuck on older quad or hexa core should be a limiting factor, nobody got out of the tunnel yelling "everybody, it is about cores and the speed!!!"
