I have an issue with some plugins in Logic Pro 10.0.7 (Mavericks 10.9.3)
First with AAS Plugins : String Studio, Strum Electric, Strum Acoustic : Everytime I Enter the serial number and the response code it works but when I quit Logic Pro X and restart it and load those plugins it keeps asking me the serial number and the response code even if it's the right one.
I've got the same kind of problem with Kontakt 5 with some third party libraries : OTTO, Sasha Soundlab... Evertyime I add them they are recognized by kontakt but whent I quit and then restart Logic they don't appear. I've done this for Kontakt but the problem persists.
If anyone could help me please. Thanks a lot.

Repairing permission is the first thing as A3C said.
Use Utilities/Disk Utility, "repair disk permission"
If you have this problem with plugs from different developers
and even Kontakt libraries is very likely that the permission of your
Library/Preferences and User/Library/Preferences folders got screwed :grooves:

I Think that's that too these to folders are screwed what can I do to fix them? After repairing disk permissions with disk utility, I still have the same problem. Thanks

Use BatChmod or Permission Reset and set permission for these folder like shown in the screenshots.
These are the settings of my permission and AU folder i.e., and all is like it should be.
(it maybe it's the plug-in that doesn't have permission to write to /Preferences folder, and being unable to save registration data.)

AU folder (do the same for VST folder and any other plug format).

The problema with plugins must be a faulty Logic preferencies.

Uh, didn't think about that ovalf. It maybe too like you say
that logic have faulty permissions and can't write to .plist and hidden license files
In the case, first try to chmod it before deleting preferences.

That's not only logic pro itself, I just find that 32 Lives keygen won't create the license.bin in Library/sound radix/32lives folder. Previously when 32Lives goes trial I just had to delete the license.bin file and generate a new license with the core keygen but now when I generate it, the license.bin dont appear in the 32 lives folder.

I've tried batch mod but it still don't work

I've tried permission reset, it still won't work, and I can't see any licence.bin file created

I would use the 32Dies uninstaller script provided kindly over at AZ, and use easy find or another app to show "invisible" files, from there you will be able to delete it or perform permission repairs etc… That should do the trick at least for finding and dealing with that pesky file!
