Ok so i downloaded this

Waves Complete 2025.08.20-R2R. this is NOT the offline version but the waves central (online installation) version. Yes all files are checked and properly included.

I've tried every way possible to get it to work and it's impossible. I've read all over internet and found several people with the same problem.

THE PROBLEM:

I did exactly as told in the instructions.

Downloaded wave central.
installed S1 stereo imager + H-delay Hybrid delay both.
I applied the files as in instruction + made the license file (both type "KEY" and "COMP", even though this is never explained which one is neededd???)
BUT
Now in waves central in "installed products" -> MY PRODUCTS the list is completely empty even though i JUST installed both plugins.
NOW in FL studio i scan for new plugins it only finds S1 Stereo imager.
S1 stereo imager works. EXCEPT
when i restart computer, still only S1 stereo imager is show in plugin list in FL studio but NOW ITS IN DEMO MODE.
SO
1. NONE of the plugins show up in "my products" in wave central.
2. H-delay Hybrid delay is still not visible inside the FL studio plugin list despite scanning (and every other plugin of 100s never had this problem)
3. S1 that is found in scan NOW is in demo mode.
I have disabled windows defender real time protection completely.

 

1. Hello @ssd22222, delete Waves completely:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves
C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio
C:\ProgramData\Waves Audio

(Hidden Folder)
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Waves Audio

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

WaveShell2-VST3 15.0_x64.vst3

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\WPAPI
Scan your hard drive with the term: WaveShell and delete them.

Go to the Registry --> Run --> Regedit and delete the following folder:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Waves

2. Restart the PC, Deactivate Defender, Download and Install this one:

3. Team R2R NFO - Waves Complete Patched + KeyGen Release

The included version of patched "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" is v3.0.0.5.
- Install Waves.
- Copy our patched "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" to "%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\Modules".
- Run included "Show_Me_Devices.cmd".

It shows your activatable device (LAN/MACAddress or removable disk) and its "Device ID".
- Run our keygen, select "Type", input "Device ID", generate license.
- Copy generated license file to valid location which is shown by "Show_Me_Devices.cmd".
- Restart computer (recommended).

4. User comment help:
- install waves central.
- Go to Offline Installer in WC and us the install offline feature at the bottom.
- You will be prompted to point at a folder.
- Point to the one you downloaded and all the plugins will appear.
- Install from there and stay out of the other tabs in WC.
- You are now at the "install Waves" part of the R2R instructions.
- Follow exactly if you have finished offline install and you're golden.

 

sounds harsh now,
But forget about Waves.
There are much better plugins on the market, which fulfill your needs.
I only installed a older Waves Package to open old projects.

The new plugins are just "Placebo" or marketing.
Other Companies make the same, but better.
Just do some research what you really need and grab less, but selected plugins.
I absolutley dont use any Waves plugin in new projects. SSL Emulations for example are enough at the market.
If you really want to have some "Emulation" or colorizing, have a look on the UAD Plugins, when they´re in sale.
They throw it out of the window sometimes ^^

 

The problem is what do you need so urgent from the package? Magma console?
Why dont you stick what was proven 100% over the last 13 months? R2R dont release half ass packages!! It is on your side.
Download the latest Waves by R2R . Clean your system. They even tell you what to do in the txt file. Do what they say.
Install. Enjoy all the shitty Waves plugins (I am using 5 of those) and be happy.

Why even reply if you cannot answer his question? Many users on other sites have commented about the "2025" releases and are using v16 VR release instead; even though they normally use R2R releases. Users with 15 years+ doing this.

 

Yeah this is for the offline package which i tried to avoid downloading but i will try this and everything you suggested. Youre great.

 

Stop using R2R releases, use V.R. Team's they are better and all included.

 

Nah, that's not true, R2R has had released Waves patches ages ago.
Some R2R releases even worked in legit Pro Tools / AAX. That is something other groups never accomplished.
That does not mean R2R can't have a bad day and f up.. It's just not true that they're not up to do proper waves releases.

 

Random question, I'm installing this through Waves Central. Is there any reason to select the individual plugins vs just selecting the Waves Ultimate subscription in the installer? That's a lot of plugins to click on hahaha.

 

It always depends on the individual, the user, and their preferences or needs. Some people only need one or more Waves plugins, which saves hard drive space and also makes the DAW load and run faster. Fewer plugins mean faster access, because searching takes time and effort.

The previous older Waves versions were very different. You had to install the entire package and then, when that was too much, tediously delete it manually. Waves has adapted to the times and is much more modern and user-friendly.
