hi everyone!

i recently installed protools 10 hd. it always crashes while starting up.
i found in forums that pressing the N key let me choose the audio driver.
if i choose "Asio DirectX Full Duplex" or "Asio4All" the app is able to start, but then anytime i choose the presonus native driver i get an instantly crash

my presonus drivers are latests

any thoughts on this?

I also have Pro Tools 10 with a PreSonus FireBox running on Windows 7. On launch I would get the "Your audio device is configured with an unsupported audio buffer size. Please select one of the following supported buffer sizes in the device control panel: 32 64 128 256 512 1024 2048" error. I tried to match the buffer sizes in both PT and PreSonus control panel with no luck. So on launch I changed the driver to ASIO4ALL then went to my PT I/O settings so that my FireBox can get playback from both the monitors and headphones. Then I used the ASIO4ALL driver settings to switch between the headphones and monitors. I don't know exactly why PreSonus Native drivers won't work, but the solution online seems to be the ASIO4ALL driver and it works just fine. Hope this helps!
