you should try this..first thing i always do,after fresh windows install or when facing runtime problems, is dload the latest runtime package from microsoft

To resolve VCRUNTIME140.dll issues on Windows 11, download the correct Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package from Microsoft's website, install it, and then restart your PC. Alternatively, you can try repairing the existing installation through your system's Control Panel.
Method 1: Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package This is the recommended and most effective method to fix VCRUNTIME140.dll errors.
    1. 1. Download the package:
Go to the Microsoft's download page for Visual C++ Redistributable Packages and download the appropriate version for your system. For Windows 11, this is typically the x64 version.
    2. 2. Run the installer:
Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the redistributable package.
    3. 3. Restart your computer:
After the installation is complete, restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
    4. 4. Try the program again:
Launch the application that was giving you the error.

Method 2: Repair the Existing Installation
If you already have the redistributable package installed, you can try repairing it through the Control Panel.
    1. Open Control Panel: Press the Windows key, type "Control Panel," and open it.
    2. Go to Programs and Features: Select "Programs and Features" (or "Add or Remove Programs" if you're in Category View).
    3. Find the Redistributable: Scroll through the list and locate the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable" entry.
    4. Repair the installation: Select the entry and click the "Change" or "Repair" button. Follow the prompts to complete the repair process.
    5. Restart your computer: Restart your PC after the repair is finished.
