Hello to users and uploaders in Taiwan,
For some time now, the Taiwan police have been requesting the information of users who upload child pornography. We have not cooperated with them, and today KatFile’s domain was blocked in Taiwan.
We ask all uploaders who have uploaded such content to immediately delete child pornography and take care of themselves.

CSAM/“think of the children” is often used as a catalyst or excuse to take away rights and privacy. We don’t even know if it is true.

There are known databases on the internet where CSAM is watermarked the same way YouTube watermarks Content ID. Every reasonable file sharing website reports CSAM because guess what, they own the files and know what is inside. They are willingly shielding pedophiles and even telling them to delete the content and lay low. Protecting your privacy and shielding pedos are two completely different things, you can pick one instead of both.

agreed. while im all for privacy, freedom of speech, etc, i think the line gets drawn when it comes to exploitation or hurting of others. But even that is a grey area / slippery slope. But in this instance, theres no grey area. Besides, the assumption that we have any sort of privacy or protection anywhere online is laughable. Just give them up katfile.

Admins, we have a big issue at the moment. Unfortunately, downloading katfile.cloud links is no longer possible. Premium link generators don't recognize the new type of links, and katfile.cloud seems not supported

 

Please wait 1-2 days and give Katfile the opportunity to defend against or repair the attack on their infrastructure/online presence.

 

@SAiNT are you aware of this? i know youre intending to help people with sister site but openly cosigning a site, that openly defends pedophiles is not it man



i know its inconvenient but if you have any type of integrity you gotta stand on business, cant let this fly. definitely pay attention if you arent and dont stand by their morals. theres so many threads crying about spotify with even staff agreeing in them, supporting this would be diabolical
