A broad-based study by Medizin Transparent reached a different conclusion. The authors reached the almost devastating conclusion that it makes no difference whether the blue light component is filtered out in the devices or not.

And then there's the issue of melatonin levels. Daylight or sunlight is a prime example of how melatonin production is inhibited by blue light – the same effect of blue and white LED light has been demonstrated in laboratory studies.
At the same time, only two of the studies measured melatonin levels. This was indeed lower when participants wore blue-filter glasses while using screen devices in the evening. At the same time, however, there are also studies in which screen lighting had no effect on melatonin levels.

The effect of blue screen light on melatonin production is therefore not certain. This raises the question of whether the amount of blue light from tablets, smartphones, etc. is even sufficient to sufficiently disrupt the body's own melatonin production.

need no study for that .same for art sweeteners .go test it for yourself.still there are maybe a thousand variables interacting .
man just think bout day and night.think bout vit D (its a hormone) pruduction triggers, think bout blue light vs red light and plants ,bla bla

studys are never neutral .studys must be paid for.
in fifty years first i believe the curve of all that studys ,theoritical .

I barely sleep and I fucking hate insomnia, which is diagnosed by the way and I've had several sleep studies done on me.

Medication helps but it's not fun in the long run (just ask me). That said even before my weird gray shroud of reality of not sleeping hit me permanently I always got my most creative periods after sundown, even after waking up at 6AM as I normally do.

So if you're creative because of not sleeping, good on you, but is it worth being a zombie otherwise?

At night in your bed not sleeping but closer to sleep, it might make you better musically cause you are closer to your subconcious more right brain type of thinking, which tends to be more creative (Right brain) whereas if you are fully, fullly awake that brain part is hardero full acces (for most people ).
My Ai chatbot says this about the concept"

The right hemisphere of the brain is often associated with:

    • Creativity and intuition
    • Musicality and spatial awareness
    • Emotional processing and visual thinking
Although both hemispheres work together, dominance can shift depending on your mental state.

    Why Creativity Increases Before Sleep
Just before falling asleep, you enter a hypnagogic state — a transitional phase between wakefulness and sleep. In this state:

    • Logical thinking (left hemisphere) becomes less active
    • Free association and imagination become more prominent
    • You may experience spontaneous ideas or musical inspiration
This explains why some people feel more creative at night — their minds are less inhibited by rational filters.

Making Music in Bed: A Neurological Advantage?
When someone lies in bed and makes music:

    • The brain is often more relaxed, which fosters creativity
    • The right hemisphere may become more dominant, especially for musical expression
    • The inner critic (often linked to the left hemisphere) quiets down
So yes, it’s quite possible that this person is unknowingly tapping into a neurological window where creativity flows more freely.

    How You Can Use This
If you create music, write, paint, or compose:

    • Try working right before sleep
    • Or even right after waking up, when you're still in a dreamy state
    • Meditation or mild fatigue can also help activate the right hemisphere
