~ No More Tears & A Free Iced Tea Latte ~

Just teasing with the thumb-down-- a bit of a 'parody-critique' of the whole 'built-in virtual social network engineering' thing I guess.

The song's actually pretty good, especially if one attempts to transcend one's own tastes, notions, moods and echoes/cliques, etc..
Is that house what they call one of those shotgun houses of the American South?... https://search.brave.com/images?q=shotgun+house&source=images
Not precisely I guess. The shotguns are really cute in any case.

But here's what I also wanted to share; a recent idea/hypothesis to form a band/project of a 'motley crew' of disparate people with disparate tastes, notions and echoes/cliques-- the highest creative friction-- that then try extra-super-hard to 'make it work/work it out', since it is suspected that the best or most sublime (if that's the right word) output/results may very well come from/of it.

Incidentally, I was once at a corporate cafe (Starbucks-- kind of dislike it in some ways, but I could get away there with what I wouldn't dare attempt at a mom and pop cafe) and in comes Ozzy Osborne who sits at a table one empty table over from mine. (I'm on my laptop.) There's no one else in the cafe except us, but the cafe is attached-- fully open-- to a bookstore.

I don't follow Ozzy and had only a very small awareness of who he was and looked like and when he came in and sat down, he looked to me simply like a homeless or street guy-- kind of out of place for the environment. (Not that I was dressed to the nines myself mind you, but at least I had The Laptop.)

Anyway, a few minutes later, there's some whispering and odd shuffly activity and I look up from my screen and notice a small lineup of people forming at his table. WTF right?
So I find out who he is and a few minutes later, the Starbucks manager-barista shows up at his table with a free drink. So I ask her for one, too-- Ozzy likely heard that, unless his hearing was shot, which was possible-- and she responds that they're 'just having fun'-- whatever that means. So I reply that I'm just having fun, too, so she relents and asks me what I want and then gets it made and served.

In retrospect, I should have asked Ozzy if I could tag along wherever he goes for free iced macha tea lattes (with extra matcha, easy ice and no syrup or extra sugar) and hotels. Think he'd buy it? I guess I'd have to carry some stuff for him, like an autograph pen and an emergency one in case the first one runs out of ink.

Here's a video that I like of a rock school of kids playing one of his tunes. I don't know the tune except through it, and what I especially like about it are the kids in general as well as the sound of the guitar when he runs this metal thing up and down along the strings--very nice-- and when the drummer loses his stick but everyone else keeps playing and then he picks it up and gets back into it-- happy accidents.

RIP, Ozzy. Your tears may come again in another universe as all our quantum information (that, presumably cannot be destroyed) unscrambles/unentropies, maybe through a black hole, and then reverses again on the other side into new entities where life is always fair if we are the cosmos checking itself out-- pain, pleasure, terror, anger, love, passion, and so on. Get ready. Dress appropriately (birthday suit).

Before Led Zeppelin John Paul Jones did things like do session work on films like Goldfinger (Jimmy Page played guitar on it with Shirley Bassy's amazing vocal) and the arrangement for To Sir With Love in which he also played bass.

I have a massive music collection which contains absolutely no Beatles music. However, I really like this cover by Spooky Tooth.
Heavy as you like. A very early example of 'sludge' rock. Released in 1970.
