Sure inspiration is a great way of learning but when you don't add that 'spice' from your heart, which makes each track and artist unique, no amount of VSTs and EQ fiddling can fix that.

Imitation is a tabloid-style life - showbusiness - ordinary people admire celebrities so much that they lose consciousness of themselves and their sparkle of perfection. My advice is not to be such media husk.

Yes Hollywood imitates and reboots almost every movie that came out 20 years ago, actually Jeremy (Youtube poster - creator of Cinema Sins) says "You are a creative industry dammit!", yet that does not mean we should too. *yes*
