My favourites are ReLab LX-480, Valhalla Vintage and Plate. I use Valhalla Shimmer and Guitar Rig Psychedelic Deleay on some piano solo tracks sometimes, I found the right balance and I really like it.
Many years ago I tried the EMpty 250 and I thought it had a very beautiful, lush and open sound but was very buggy and CPU hungry.

I recently rediscovered the Lexicon PCM bundle, and I’m stunned every time by how well it creates a sense of space.
But I think the most impressive thing is how you can use multiple instances on different sources, really go overboard with it, and the mix still doesn’t get muddy.
Also, the PCM Rooms are fantastic on the drum bus. They add a very live, organic character to electronic drums.

Welllll this doesn't count really for this topic, but it's close enough. Just got some back pay (dont worry im broke again) and splurged on buying a meris mercury x pedal. With the software integration (thank god wouldn't want to dive through the menus i dont think with just the pedal) im using it more like a studio reverb than a guitar pedal though. Running my synths, drums, vocals through it. Just got it a couple days ago, still some things to learn but to MY ears it sounds cleaner/better than anything I've got on my computer, including the big sky vst. Dunno hard to explain but it just sounds really good. It should for 600 bucks. Maybe some of its buyers bias but yeah I thought I'd be sticking to some of my go tos still, and I still might on some occasions but so far seems like this is replacing a lot of them, which would be big sky and nebula reverbs mostly.

Does cinematic epic really really well, has a ton of multifx built in but just the bread and butter standard verbs sit really well in the mix. Down sides are I have to treat it like outboard gear... cause it is and send in and out of the rme. Not too much of a pain but not as easy/fast as a plugin of course. Also there is a weird thing with the predelay setting to midi, so to make it with no predelay you have to set the bpm to max basically. That might be user error though, lots to learn about this pedal. Figured Id be fine but there are a few options on it that I still need to figure out.

Anyway, it came highly recommended as far as I can tell and im not disappointed, even though I have no money again. Will be fun to run things through it and make it sound lush as fuck. Mmmm reverb.

I hear you about how cleaner/better an outboard effect can be. I splurged on an Empressechosysytem and nothing in the way of plugin to my ears can touch it.

Oh! This is a quite impressive and well rounded pedal bro, i happened to play one recently, guitarist friend of mine bought it. But @ ~500 euros cost this is quite an expensive pedal, although very versatile and very good sounding. Perhaps the last delay pedal you 'll ever need...
    Cheers

I'm currently spending time with seventh heaven professionals, but Valhalla is doing its part in my general work.

Expensive yes, and since I can't afford anything that I don't already have...hence the last I will ever need.

2025 and I still don't get the hype about Valhalla. Is there a particular verb of theirs that's goated? Vintage and Room are the only reverbs I've tried period that I immediately disliked. Presets seemed so washy and nearly indistinguashable esp in Room.. I wonder every now and then if i used it wrong but I've got enough verbs that sounded not shit the first time around so never bothered

HOFA IQ Reverb all day long.

Sounds expensive, thoughtful presets, extremely configurable, and has a high quality feel to it while in use IMHO.

People are missing out on UVI Bloom. Literal 0% CPU reverb and it sounds so incredibly natural that I can't really describe easily. The "depth" mode also works wonders, and when you think your settings sound great already, enable serial or parallel mode to load a second reverb and just stand in awe in how good it sounds. It has a magical flavor that I can't find in many other reverbs, and it's cheap to run as many as you want in a session (0 delay too!).

Hello everyone. You may not understand my message well through the translator, so I apologize in advance.Since I live and am in Russia. Here is my list of important plugins.I'll do the location from the most important one.In total, I have 110 reverb plugins in my library, and these are some of the most important ones for me.

1.For many years now, Lexicon has been an icon for many genres of music. And there's no point in even trying to dispute this fact.
I want to highlight the Relab LX480, which will always live on in my Bitwig even on VST2, and will be the cherry on top of the right instrument.
Arturia Rev LX-24 also offers an excellent replica option.
There are also original plugins from the Lexicon company itself, but their interface no longer meets modern requirements. But this is in my humble opinion.

    2.Fab Filter Pro-R2
Without a doubt, a modern reverb has all the necessary settings and, most importantly, sounds great. For me, Fab Filter is the epitome of high-quality sound. With the ability to import pulses from your library.

3.Liquid Sonics Cinematic Rooms Professional & Reverberate
The quality of this company's reverb can also be considered a benchmark in the audio industry.

4.Valhalla It does not need an introduction and has both advantages and limitations.

    5.Slate Digital Verbsuite Classics
Those who have used this reverb will always know that it is a quality sound. The only thing that bothers me is that the company does not update the device's features after its release. In today's rapidly evolving technology world, it is crucial to keep up with the times.

Check out the free Magic 7 reverb from Wave Alchemy if you have not already. Its nothing mind blowing, but has a wide range of Bricasti captures.

The thing about Valhalla plugins is they are, for the most part, immediate and easy to tweak and shape to your track. The presets DO sound washy, i agree. Once you spend some time learning how to shape them, and create your own presets they are pretty powerful little plugins. I like most of their plugins. Give em another shot, including the free ones, which are a lot of fun, especially supermassive. Valhalla is also priced affordably, and get continuous updates, with new algorithms added periodically.

HOFA IQ is insane. Absolutely ridiculous plugin. I would say its almost too powerful. I sometimes get lost in sound design with it, when really i just need a simple reverb lol.

I don't own Super Plate, but Little Plate has been my go to for female vocals within the "trailer" genre. Dark trip hop, "trailerized" covers, etc. So simple, just works.

Bloom is great. The only thing i don't like is the UI, but its not a deal-breaker. I also use envelope followers to achieve similar with any reverb or effect.
