Waldorf releases updates PPG Wave 3.V to v2.0, incl. UI scaling, user wavetables & parameter mutator

Waldorf Music has released version 2.0 of its virtual instrument that offers direct access to timeless wavetable synthesis right inside your favorite DAW. Version 2.0 of PPG Wave 3.V pushes wavetable synthesis forward with new features for a higher user experience.

This updated version honors the famous Waldorf Microwave synthesizer, bringing back its best features. Edit user wavetables and explore new factory wavetables. Get inspiration with the Mutator patch randomizer. All on a now fully resizable user interface.

• UI scaling: Fixed scaling factors covering 1x..3x magnification in 7 steps.
• User Wavetable Support:
  • One user wavetable per preset supported.
  • User wavetables can be copied and stored with presets.
  • Compatible with existing PPG3.V preset format.
• User Wavetable Editing:
  • Wave and wavetable edit screen.
  • Standard wave generation.
  • Copying of factory wavetables and single waves to user wavetables.
  • Simple wave drawing by mouse.
  • Generating user waves and wavetables randomly using factory waves.
  • User wavetable im- and export using WAV files.
• Parameter Mutator:
  • Gradually randomize preset parameters (as in the latest Microwave1 update).
  • 5 mutation groups of parameters: Wave, Pitch, Filter, ENV, LFO.
  • Tunable extent of mutation effects.
• New factory wavetables from our popular Microwave products.
• Pro Tools/AAX support for Apple Silicon on macOS.
• Bug fixes and support of current operating system and DAW versions.

PPG Wave 3.V version 2.0 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is now available for new users at an introductory price of 99 EUR / $109.99 USD at the Waldorf store and from retailers AudioDeluxe and Best Service until September 14th, 2025 (regular 149 EUR / $165 USD).

Existing owners of PPG Wave 3.V can get the version 2.0 update at an introductory price of 29 EUR / $32.99 USD during the promotion (regular 49 EUR / $54.99 USD).

 

I cant get a trial. Trial page says: "Oooops, this is not working."
