Yeah he has always been forward thinking and experimental. Part of what makes his sound. Im sure that GIGASAMPLER put a unique character into his music at the time. Made him stand out from the rest of the composers. He could have conformed and kept doing things by the book. But were here talking about him because of the exposure he has gotten by choosing creative experimentation path over fear. I feel like most greats do this.

It's been maybe* 1.5 years (tops) of widespread AI adoption by the public and there's already like 1000 studies/indicators of its negative impacts on the brain (shocker).

Hasn't social media/information age done enough damage as it is? Why would you willingly advocate for the replacement of your ability to have to grind thru something? Don't answer that lol

The endpoint of a focus entirely and exclusively on results, certainly*, must only and completely, lead to human obsolescence. Be wary of the mindset

I thought this has some good insight and a good perspective to support those who see the scary side of AI. Governments will always control and clamp down on the masses. Its chicken or the egg on what these videos are saying about AI. But they are defiantly on the right path with what can happen when bad actors get a new tool. A tale as old as time. Early humans use a rock to kill an animal, then one takes the rock and kills a tribe member. on and on..

No, it's probably my fault! I use the translator a lot! You're arguing with intelligent arguments in this thread, and i hate to see you wasting your time here.. Leave them in their beliefs!

It's more than the message was for the others as much as for you.
Like this boss I had once:

Boss: Xupito, are you being productive yet?
Me: Well, I'm trying, but it's my second day here, you know...
Boss: Not relevant. Look at Christina (co-worker next to me), she's very productive, right Christina??!!
    Christina: Err... what?
Me: Never mind Christina, he's not actually talking to you but to me
Boss: Ok, I think I made my point
    Me: Loud and clear boss...

I lasted two months in that shitty company

4 seconds, think about that. While your DAW is still loading AI already dishes out several songs.
Money for nothing and the chicks for free.
This statement from Dire Straits just got way darker.

Added to that, what you can't see, is the power consumption and the cost of the search.
People expect digital infrastructure, along with the CPU, to be and remain fast.

The speed and permanent availability of AI – as well as the savings in labor costs – will make many people redundant.
If the power goes out or some other disruption occurs, they will probably have difficulty writing a song themselves without this convenient and fast tool.

They simply lose the ability to do so thanks to search engines and AI, and they may no longer have the calm and patience for it.
They've also become so accustomed to AI that they don't want to be without it or search engines.

Now you've saved a few hours for the song, but if you're actually going to use this song, the content is good. If you're singing live, you have to learn the lyrics by heart. I think many people can't memorize their own lyrics, so they just read them. The more you leave to machines, the less you use and train your brain.
