Some of the libraries the bigger gui ones dont work right anymore. Its weird because the n4 factory reverb skin works fine and its gui is big. The Henry Olanga skins don't seem to work but partially even switching to dpi mode dosnt fix it. I dont have issues with any other nebula libraries or even plugins in general. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Im running windows 11 and studio one the newest one but this has been an issue for a while.

You may find some troubleshooting tips here:
The issue you're describing with Nebula 4.5, where certain larger GUI skins (like Henry Olonga's) don't display correctly while others (like the factory reverb skin) work fine, seems to be a known problem among some users, particularly on Windows 11 with Studio One. Based on available information and user reports, here are some potential fixes and considerations:

    1. DPI Scaling and Compatibility Settings:
      • Since you've already tried switching to DPI mode without success, ensure that Windows 11's display scaling is set correctly. Go to Settings > System > Display and set the scaling to 100% or 125% to test if it resolves the issue. Some users report GUI rendering issues with high DPI settings.
      • Right-click the Studio One executable, go to Properties > Compatibility, and try enabling "Disable fullscreen optimizations" or "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10." This can sometimes resolve GUI rendering issues with VST plugins on Windows 11.
    2. Nebula 4.5 Installation and File Integrity:
      • The issue with Henry Olonga's skins (e.g., Titan 2 with Assimov's skin) may stem from missing or corrupted library files, as reported in a Gearspace thread where a user encountered a "one or more programs are missing" error.
        • Visit Henry Olonga's website and ensure you've downloaded both the main Titan 2 library and any additional "missing vectors" files.
        • Reinstall the affected libraries after backing up your current setup. Delete the existing library folders from the Nebula plugin directory (typically in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 or similar) and reinstall using the latest versions.
      • Verify that your Nebula 4.5 installation is up to date. According to a Cockos forum thread, upgrading to Nebula 4.5 requires manually deleting the N4 framework folder and all related libraries before installing the new version.
        • Use the Aquarius software to uninstall Nebula 4, remove residual files, and install Nebula 4.5 fresh. Then, reinstall third-party libraries like Henry Olonga's.
    3. Third-Party Skin Compatibility:
      • Some third-party skins, including those by Henry Olonga, may not be fully compatible with Nebula 4.5 due to changes in the framework. A user on the Cockos forum confirmed that Tim Petherick and Cupwise skins worked after upgrading to 4.5, but others, like London Acoustics, had issues.
        • Check if updated versions of the Henry Olonga skins are available. Contact the developer directly (via the website or support email) to confirm compatibility with Nebula 4.5.
        • Alternatively, try loading the libraries without the custom skin to see if the issue is skin-specific. You can do this by selecting a different skin or the default Nebula GUI in the plugin settings.
    4. Studio One and Plugin Settings:
      • Since you're using the latest version of Studio One (likely Studio One 6 or higher, given the date), ensure that the plugin is not being blocklisted due to compatibility issues. Studio One 4.5.3 and later introduced stricter plugin validation for Windows 11, which could affect third-party plugins.
        • Go to Studio One > Options > Plug-in Manager and check if Nebula 4.5 or specific libraries are blocklisted. If so, reset the blocklist and rescan plugins.
        • Disable any custom DPI or graphics acceleration settings in Studio One's preferences to rule out conflicts with the Nebula GUI rendering.
      • Test Nebula 4.5 in another DAW (e.g., Reaper or Cubase) to isolate whether the issue is specific to Studio One.
    5. Windows 11 Graphics Driver:
      • GUI issues can sometimes be caused by outdated or incompatible graphics drivers on Windows 11. Update your GPU drivers to the latest version from the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel).
      • If you're using an NVIDIA graphics card, there’s a known issue with Studio One 4 locking up during plugin scans on Windows 7, which might extend to Windows 11 in rare cases. Ensure your drivers are updated to mitigate this.
    6. User Reports and Workarounds:
      • A user on audiosex.pro reported a similar issue where only the top 30% of the Nebula GUI displayed after a reinstall, affecting Henry Olonga and Cupwise skins. Unfortunately, no definitive fix was provided in that thread, but it suggests the issue may be tied to specific skin files or their interaction with Nebula 4.5.
      • Another user on Gearspace mentioned that setting the correct VST3 path (e.g., C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) in Nebula's setup resolved a similar issue. Double-check your VST3 path in Nebula's settings to ensure it points to the correct folder.
    7. Contact Support:
      • If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, reach out to Acustica Audio’s support via their website for guidance on Nebula 4.5 stability and third-party library compatibility.
      • Additionally, contact Henry Olonga directly through his website for specific support on his skins, as they may require updates or specific installation steps for Nebula 4.5.
Summary: The issue likely stems from a combination of third-party skin compatibility with Nebula 4.5, Windows 11 DPI scaling, or missing library files. Start by verifying your installation, updating skins, and adjusting Windows/Studio One settings. If the problem persists, test in another DAW to isolate the issue and contact Acustica Audio or Henry Olonga for further assistance. Unfortunately, no single fix is universally reported, so troubleshooting may require multiple steps.

If you have specific details (e.g., error messages, exact libraries affected beyond Henry Olonga's, or Studio One version), please share them for a more tailored solution.

I'm about to look into to this now thanks for the ideas. As for contacting support (acoustica) they just say they have nothing to do with it i remember a while ago when i was having issues with 3rd party libraries they were zero help. As for studio one its 7.2 something whatever the latest r2r version was just released and my windows is up to date also.

Hello @tgunz020707, please simply do not use these Henry Olanga skins. They are most likely incompatible.

The manufacturer Nebula is generally not liable for errors made by third-party manufacturers, so no advice is available regarding their problems. This also has something to do with liability law.

I was just trying to figure out if there was a way to fix it but im probably going that route anyway , if need be ill just have to change my display magnify.

Ive found this out so far
    Works in Abletone 12.1 (Build:2024-09-25_bba251b1d9
    Bitwig 5.2 build date 2024-07-23
    Fl Studio 24.2.1 (Build 4526)

    Crashes Unify 1.11.4

what 3rd party libraries are messed up
    Cupwise - Ax102 Tape Machine
    Henry Olonga - Helios 69 , Mic Collection Modern\Vintage , & Mojo collection

Everything else i have made 3rd party library wise i have zero issues.

Turned off dpi scaling in studio one and they work fine now, but when i save the thumbnail to the browser its all screwed up it takes a picture of part of the plugin maybe 40 percent and 60 percent of the daw which it usually only screenshots the plugin by itself , also waves plugins open somewhat faster (They usually take forever). After 30 to 45 minutes everything changed S1 got small i could barely see , it even messed up the top sub menus of S1 now if i switch it to 100 percent screen size they work right with dpi on & off but everything is super small. I usually have magnification set to 125 & i use a 43 inch samsung tv as my monitor. Thanks for the ideas i just wanted to see if i could fix it or anyone had any ideas i spent probably 45 minutes changing every setting i could\suggested by you and this is what i came up with.It has to be something with studio 1 - 7.2.2 & prior because with nothing changed it works as it should with those 3 other daws.

You should know that Studio One has a "real" high-DPI mode; all other DAWs work differently, apart from Motu I think. But since manufacturers work for all the other common DAWs, they sometimes neglect Studio One users. In the past, the Rob Papen plugins didn't scale properly, and sometimes you couldn't move the controls, which worked fine in other DAWs, though.

4K monitors aren't always the be-all and end-all, they can sometimes be a nightmare. I bought a different monitor without a 4K resolution and everything has worked better since then. As you can see, Studio One is very sharp, but some manufacturers just can't adapt to it.

Sorry to hear about that. Im a nebula user, but haven't used Henry's libraries for a few years so can't help there. I THINK there is an azzimov skin (who if you can afford it has a patreon, totally worth supporting imo. We in the nebula community are extremely fortunate to have him) for the cupwise ax tape though, maybe the new skin will fix it?

Im on reaper dont have any issues, but again haven't used Henry's for a while.

And the lib is donationware (reads, free). You can't complain about something that you didn't even paied for. It's not like AlexB, for example.
