    Pro Tools Scan Failures
In cases where Pro Tools has failed to scan a LiquidSonics plug-in it may report that the plug-in is not a 64-bit AAX plug-in.

Please delete the LiquidSonics plug-ins (details on how to do this are included in the knowledge base), and then remove the Pro Tools plug-in scan cache; depending on your version of Pro Tools…

Pro Tools 2023.12 and above: You can do this by visiting “C:\Users\Public\Pro Tools\AAXPlugInCache” on Windows and “/Users/Shared/Pro Tools/AAXPlugInCache” on macOS, locating the relevant plug-in scan cache file (e.g. named “Seventh Heaven.aaxplugin.plugincache” for Seventh Heaven).

Pro Tools before 2023.12: Visit “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools\” on Windows or “~/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools/” on macOS and delete the InstalledAAXPlugIns file.

Next ensure your plug-in is properly licensed via the iLok License Manager. Finally re-install the plug-in and load Pro Tools again.

Ask LiquidSonics what can cause that your legit product is not visible? Let’s see what they say.

Uninstall 7thH, and then rename the AAX folder so protools does not see it at all. Force a rescan and there should be no plugins in protools. Then install 7th and see what happens. If it is the there, you know there is something wacky with the AAX folder.

yeah it was a kind of mean comment, of course i know reaper cant open AAX plugins.

But it is true, if normal plugin versions work, then so should AAX? but is the last PT blessed version able to open all new AAX plugins?

I've seen some rare cases where plugin activation failed with certain plugin architecture or even DAW,
also often the problem is with iLok mismatch (for ex. you cannot active iZotope RX5 plugins by iLok on Windows 11 because iZotope doesn't give a fuck)

Yeah just waiting to hear what they have to say, as I tried everything what everyone has mentioned here so far.
Been a few days now and still haven't heard from them though.

You could, of course, completely delete the cracked Pro Tools and then install the Pro Tools Trial to see if the plugin works.
If not, you can contact Pro Tools support and possibly get your money back if it not works.

I agree. That way he would at least be able to rule out that his PT version is the issue. If the trial is able to scan and open 7th Heaven, then the problem is either that the AudioUtopia version is too old or it has something to do with it being a cracked version. Maybe some newer AAX plugins have an extra check somewhere that makes them incompatible with cracked PT releases, or something like that.

Never heard back from LiquidSonics.. they just ignored my issue. I am just using it through PatchWorks now. I gave up. Thanks to everyone for the replies.

If you have enough free hard drive space and legit Windows copy (or OS X, probably) you could create a new partition, install a second version of Windows, so you're dual booting, then install only the Pro Tools free trial on the second partition, then try just Seventh Heaven.

You'd have your answer, then you could probably just delete the second partition (or keep it just in case you have similar problems in the future, this seems like it has to do with the AAX format).

    https://www.google.com/search?q=ins...ndroid-doogee&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

That's probably about the only way to determine the problem source once and for all, but I think you need two copies of windows.

Unless there's something really unique to you about Pro Tools, I would take this as a sign to switch. VST/VST3 is the industry standard plugin format, it should always be supported natively in every DAW by now.

The only real reason to keep using Pro Tools is that, apparently, it integrates with hardware which, at least, WAS more efficient . . . (though it seems to me that with USB 3.0 speeds any hardware is going to work just fine regardless of Avid's integration, like how UAD devices, at one point, DID make a big difference, now? Not so much . . .).
