Hello to all, back from the grave.. heh

been out of the loop some
Years now, back as electronic music producer as used to be in passed, after getting back to the industry (not easy for old-sport) for past year, it’s time to start production again, but!!!!

this time I wanna have my small idea\scratch workflow, to a point I can send to mix and master, I don’t wanna get into building my dream studio again, I really wanna keep it simply this time, it’s beneficial more at this point.

so getting started is not allways easy, but I’m all about.. drooling to produce again

At this point My need is:
Workstation (can be laptop (preferred) but if the jumps, I will go for standalone workstation

sound card, max 2 line inputs (maybe guitar, mic) something that is value for
Money, prefer with volume noob on top./ as the “cheap cards” but most
Important sound and stability, best there is in this category

monitors, here I really up thinking for different approach, as well as shot the $.. but was think about something Smallllll, anyone can recommend on the ik multimedia iLoud?
    Or similar?

by now you get the idea, non studio, I will call it multimedia station, but with enough power to
Build a scratch and then mix, mastering at level studios.

Keyboards, 5oct, today’s keyboard and daw integration, any suggestions?

Thank you guys, helping oldi cross
    The road again

    Hi, welcome here again.
For audio take a look at the M-Audio AIR series.

    Welcome back @AmitXS!

I have the feeling you don't know exactly how much space you have available. It seems like you want everything a bit smaller, which isn't recommended. Perhaps you could tell us exactly what you want. A small, slim laptop - a standard midi tower case, larger and more useful. What about an LED monitor? Too big?

    CONCLUSION
Excellent workmanship, innovative and truly useful technology, and a bright, transparent sound are the features that make the Adam Audio A4V a highly recommended near-field monitor. The highly controlled and crisp sound may seem a bit sterile with some material, but the Adams are a force, especially in the electronic genre. Combined with the interesting and well-functioning room adjustment, these small A-class speakers are a real asset to the market. Very good!

    Plus
    • very good workmanship
    • very detailed and transparent sound
    • innovative technologies
    • Production (partially) in Germany
    • 5-year warranty upon registration
    Minus
    • Sound sometimes seems a bit sterile
    • Spatial representation partly unnatural

    CONCLUSION
The PreSonus Quantum ES 2 USB-C audio interface is an excellent little interface for the home studio or for playing software synthesizers on stage. Playing backing tracks is also no problem, thanks to the headphone output for the click in addition to the main outputs. €229 online is a fair price for this very well-made interface.

One small drawback is worth mentioning: No suitable MIDI adapters for the 3.5 mm TRS MIDI jacks are included. However, Studio One Pro is included, and Studio One+ can be tested free for six months. What more could you want?

    Plus
    • very good workmanship
    • good sound
    • practical equipment
    • low latency
    • Loopback channels
    • MIDI In/Out
    Minus
    • no MIDI adapters included
