5.3 to 5.3.1 upgrade 'no previous installation found'

    Hi

    I'm trying to install the latest r2r update 5.3.1 so I can open some libraries that require the latest version.
    When I try to install it, I get the error message 'no previous installation found' and I have no option but to quit the installer.

    My previous version is 5.3.0. and I'm using OSX 10.7.5.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Try just extracting the dll's and exe from the installer and replace manually.

    I ran into the same, I ended up reinstalling the base Kontakt 5 from scratch from the Komplete 9 installer, then I was able to install the update over that.

    better read better...its osx

    use permissions reset (free)

    if not install with pacifist and will work (also free)

    Drag onto Pacifics Windows it will extract the plugs and standalone You can either install it from that or drag and over write to its proper locations Done Deal
