I just realized I thought the topic was "is it worth it living a life without dogs??"
I wondered why no one mentioned Golden Retrievers ...

so my bad, time for my annual eye exam, hope I can find my cane to tape on the bumper
before I drive over to the opthamalogists.

 

After I quit alcohol and weed, life felt really dull and pointless for a while. The first few months were tough, and I wasn’t sure if things would ever feel good again. Cravings lasted longer than I expected, and I felt emotionally flat. But over time, things slowly got better. I started enjoying simple stuff again, like bike rides, old hobbies, and spending time with people who actually remembered our conversations. Music felt different too, but in a good way.
There’s no quick fix, but small wins added up. If you're struggling, you're not alone. Getting help, like support groups or places like Abbeycare clinics in the UK, can really make a difference. Being around people who understand what you're going through helps a lot.

get off abilify. that's hard core. how can you be drug free if you're on abilify?
