Hi, I have just got an idea of buying a keyboard player like Yamaha PSR or Casio CT or so . Any helpful advice on a keyboard I can program my own accompaniment, styles, bassline patterns for playing with the left hand, to be precise. Does it exist such a keyboard? If it does, can it transmit played programmed notes, I mean patterns not pressed keys, as MIDI events? How is the feature called? By the way, does any arranger plugin or standalone exist? I think the arpeggiator or sequence could do what I look for. Thanks

The best thing, answering your own question
If its for live situations it makes sense, but I think now a day people use laptops for a better GUI and visualization, more flexibility inside the DAW.

 

@nmkeraj Hi. I used to demo keys for a chain of stores at the end of the '90's. They were a Yamaha dealer, so we had this kind of Home Keyboard on sale, but also the Technics ones.
Back then, the Technics models were way more versatile I thought.
So if you're set on this type of thing, I'd suggest also looking at the Technics versions of the present day. Assuming they are still doing that type of instrument; I don't know.

ChordPulse is pretty cool software too like Band in a Box but easier, quick for songwriting ideas and also exports Midi although not sure if this is what you are looking for but if you are then you can check it out on YouTube and its homepage (also avilable on sister site).

It's quite old and more of an arpeggiator than an arranger.

There is One Man Band that kinda recreates the Yamaha-style arranger as a software tool. It is even compatible with original Yamaha definition files.
