Hi. Can any delay plugin split bands of feedback for left-right channels to get eg, high freqs in right and low freqs in left channel or with filter on every channel?

Yes, certain delay plugins can split frequency bands and apply different delay settings or filters to left and right channels, allowing for effects like high frequencies delayed in the right channel and low frequencies in the left. Here are some options and approaches based on available tools:

    1. Multiband Delay Plugins:
      • Image-Line Multiband Delay (FL Studio): This plugin splits the incoming signal into 16 frequency bands, allowing independent delay, volume, and panning control for each band. You can configure high-frequency bands to pan right and low-frequency bands to pan left, with customizable delay times and feedback per band. It also supports automation for dynamic effects.
      • Unfiltered Audio Triad: A three-band frequency splitter that can process low, mid, and high frequencies separately. You can apply delays and other effects to each band and pan them to different channels (e.g., highs to right, lows to left). It’s highly flexible with a clear interface and extensive preset library.
    2. Plugins with Stereo and Frequency Control:
      • ValhallaDSP UberMod: This plugin features extensive modulation and delay options with 32 modulated delay taps. You can apply high-pass and low-pass filters to the delayed signal and adjust stereo width, enabling you to emphasize high frequencies in one channel and low frequencies in another. Its diffusion options allow for creative sound design.
      • FabFilter Timeless 2: Known for its versatile filter and modulation options, this plugin allows you to create custom delay effects with filters applied to each channel. You can set up high-pass filters for the right channel and low-pass filters for the left to achieve the desired frequency split.
      • Voxengo Lagrange: This plugin supports independent delay settings for left and right channels, with high-pass and low-pass filters in the feedback path. You can configure it to delay high frequencies in one channel and low frequencies in the other, with additional control over crosstalk and harmonic distortion.
    3. Custom Setup with Frequency Splitters:
      • If a single plugin doesn’t meet your needs, you can use a frequency splitter plugin like Image-Line Frequency Splitter or Klevgrand Gaffel to divide the signal into low and high bands, then route each band to separate delay plugins (e.g., Waves H-Delay or Soundtoys EchoBoy). This setup allows you to apply specific filters and delay settings to each band and pan them left or right. For example:
        • Use a low-pass filter on the left channel’s delay for low frequencies.
        • Use a high-pass filter on the right channel’s delay for high frequencies.
        • This method ensures precise control but requires more setup in your DAW.
    4. Considerations:
      • Latency: Plugins like Image-Line Frequency Splitter offer zero-latency or linear-phase crossover options, which are ideal for real-time processing without phase issues.
      • Sound Quality: To preserve sound quality, ensure the crossover filters (e.g., Linkwitz-Riley in Klevgrand Gaffel) are high quality to avoid phase distortion or artifacts in the crossover region.
      • Real-Time Processing: Most modern plugins, like those mentioned, are designed for real-time use in DAWs via VST, making them suitable for your needs. However, complex setups with multiple plugins may require sufficient computational power.
Recommendation: For a straightforward solution, try Image-Line Multiband Delay if you use FL Studio, as it directly supports band splitting, panning, and delay adjustments in one plugin. For more creative flexibility, ValhallaDSP UberMod or FabFilter Timeless 2 are excellent choices. If you prefer a modular approach, combine Image-Line Frequency Splitter with your favorite delay plugins.

If you have a specific DAW or workflow preference, let me know, and I can tailor the recommendation further!

Timeless 3 will let you switch it to filter routing per channel. You will have the even numbered filters to one side, and the odd ones to the other. Then you set those up in the Efx source components down on the bottom by clicking the >> button. I'm not sure it will do exaclty what you want, but pretty close to it.

Ohmboyz Infinity can do almost exactly what you want, but it can only do 2 bands with its 2 delays.
More easily than Timeless anyway, but still not a multiband you want with only 2.

You could always use something like Bluecat MB-7 mixer, setup the bands, and stick a delay instance on each one.

Very outdated, but I still use iZotope Spectron, which sounds it could be up to the task. Split up to 2048 frequency bands, pan and delay each individually through a somewhat intimidating spectrum editor.

There's also a really confusing Morph module that lets you load a file and then morph the spectrum between that and your input. Then a Smear delay that's just... mushy. Works for some pads though.

why are you making things worse? Ursa DSP and Voxengo are different developers non of them have multiband Delay :)
This will be a lesson how not to use AI that mindlessly sweeps everything off web pages and people like you only create even more chaos because the AI again having read your incorrect copy-paste, will offer it to others with a straight face
Jusy stop it or you are trying to put a record in number of messages, you don't have to reply to a message if you don't know the answer, that's okay, no offense.

Your AI search conflated the two plugins that were on the same page on the Boneda website. I have found that searches using shit artificial intelligence ALWAYS need to be vetted else one falls prey to all sorts of false bullshit.
