I am so sad, even though it was obvious he was sick. I didn't think we would get to this point so quickly. He will be greatly missed. Ozzy, thank you for everything, the songs, the fun, the madness, goodbye!

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (December 3, 1948 in Birmingham-Aston, England – July 22, 2025 in London) was a British rock musician. He became known as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. As a solo artist, he achieved multiple platinum album awards from 1980 to the mid-1990s. He was nicknamed the Godfather of Metal and the Prince of Darkness.

He is considered the greatest icon in heavy metal history. Together with his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne, he founded Ozzfest in 1996. In the early 2000s, Osbourne gained additional fame through the MTV reality series The Osbournes, in which he appeared with his wife Sharon and their children Kelly and Jack.

R.I.P. very few make the impact on music that he and Black Sabbath have, probably my favorite metal band

I wish my body was built from that genetic material.

 

The „Fucking Rock Legends“ Heaven, not to be confused with normal boring heaven.

 

If they cremate Ozzy in Birmingham, half the city will be stoned on the fumes for a week.

 

So sad. Music is timeless and lives forever. R.I.P. dear Ozzy and thank you so much for your big inspiration to us... musicians.
