    Never think about it again! Don't do that! When I first saw the avatar, including the comment, I thought, "What a curious, lively, funny, and likeable boy." Now, after seeing several more comments, it's clear: it harmonizes 1000% with the avatar; the avatar is YOU! I'm not helping with that; it's too much responsibility for me. On the other hand, doing nothing doesn't feel good either and is lame. So, as a compromise, I asked my "Friends" to do it, and it feels better right away.

    @OP: I get why, but then again when I was in my twenties I felt like an old fuck... so yeah, you might not look like your avatar, but as long as you feel like it? Plus... have you seen the average age survey on AS? We're all old. Now that I think about it. I might as well pick Heidi as avatar. I'm still not convinced that it wasn't about her I never considered females with long hair.
