Deep down, fTRoLLster feels extremely uncomfortable as repeatedly realizes that, in terms of compositional royalty, the notes have lost their throne... Fella, your “super sincere” lament over the “forgotten notes” is as melodramatic as the unempathic music of Nouvelle Vague films...

Chill out, Sir lament-as-notes, this isn't about rejecting traditional writing or compositional craft, but rather embracing these other expressive paradigms (some of which you, as you constantly remind us, claim to detest with academic fervor!). But have you forgotten how all that experimentalism that brought the so-called “fads” of Musique Concrète, Minimalism, and more recently, Atmospheric Aesthetic, was utterly trashed by audiences at the time of their debuts? Nothing like time to turn the tables, right?

Quite the downfall... from provocateur to the one being provoked, huh? You're getting old!

I have to admit that I have some misplaced admiration that FOSTER somehow manages to find determined ways under a new guise, to come back after being perpetually banned and plague this forum with threads that look like something but ultimately lack substance. He must have so many different email addresses by now, it would be hard to count and keep track even for him.
