I own this synth but I'm a bit confused as well. I can still download and install the installer through my account at cakewalk.com (v2.2.3 with Command Centre v1.2.3) and it's still working (macOS Big Sur, Logic Pro) but since it's not supported anymore indeed I'm wondering how long it takes before it won't work anymore. Would be a pitty. Also, not sure why Bandlab didn't take over. It's still a very usuable synth.

 

Is probably a legal problem. Maybe at some point the manufacturers will develop the Z3TA + 3 further. I think they just ran out of money. I think a lot of users paid cash and if you give it away for free, that's probably not OK. I don't know more details, I can only guess.
