I've been using Pro Tools since 2001, and Logic since 2009. I've kept my certifications up in both regularly, and have also started using Luna. I recently started dabbling in Cubase, and it's extremely intuitive and easy for me to use. Any tips or tricks from longtime users?

I've been using Cubase since the 90s, and I'd never want to be without it again.
A few optimization tips from me.

    1) Enable 64-bit Float mode and enable ASIO Guard.
    2) In the Plugin Manager window, you can exclude plugins from ASIO Guard. This can sometimes give you up to 25-40% more performance if you use the same plugin on multiple channels and that plugin doesn't work properly with ASIO Guard. Just experiment to see if the plugins run better or worse with ASIO Guard.
    3) Try the ASIO2WASAPI driver; it works best for me with Cubase. The "Steinberg Built-in ASIO Driver" is also very good.

Check out https://cubaseindex.com/ for loads of video tutorials, from 2020 I believe), taken from the YT livestreams every Tuesday and Friday, where you can ask a question on the chat and watch Greg Ondo show you how it's done (if possible of course). You can/should search first as the likelyhood, it's been asked already.

Any of Greg's videos, along with anything from Dom Sigalas. They are pretty much Steinberg's poster boys for tutorials..

Like JurgenTV mentioned, start playing with the logical editor and messing with its presets it most definitely IS one of your best friends in Cubase. Also keep in mind under the hood it's very modular, you can route things almost anywhere whether its mid, audio, fx...group tracks are great. Pay close attention to the pre/post dark green line when a track editor window is open where you add plugins, it will change everything about how you EQ and chain plugins and fx in a single track. Learn how to use the sidechaining asap. I don't know, there's a million points of purpose to take advantage of...I still have my original paper manual from Cubase Pro 4 when I first bought it (I was using the sx2.3 version from the under webs for years before I finally decided I needed to buy it) and that manual was like 3 or 4 inches thick! Basically, almost anything you can imagine, there is probably a way to do it in cubase.
