Metafortress is a anti-tampering protection.it works to avoids modification in softwares and games and plugins and so on.based on R2R NFOs they did crack it multiple time like in falcon but they stated that if not most it is one of most annoying and challenging part of high protected ilok plugins.

No, I don’t have any UA hardware. For example I can’t see A-type in UA connect with active spark subscription

 

hmm, yeah, I don't have Spark myself, but know some that do, and I've read some comments about issues with the current UAD installer/app etc since their last update, (or at least a recent one that may have been fixed already), primarily on the Windows side. I'm on macOS and haven't experienced any problems with my UA plugs myself, and I updated before I read of the problems... so I'm not sure if you are on Windows or not, and if I'm wrong on that in regards to being somewhat os specific, my apologies, as do not mean to mislead at all....
but I would probably check in with the UA Connect app and make sure everything is up to date, and hopefully it has been fixed, as yeah, it would be a bummer paying for the full Spark sub and only getting half of what you pay for!

 

If that's true, how big of an impact does it realistically have on cracking the native plugins?

 

R2R had said, this is the most time-consuming and annoying protection. Now no one really knows, but if this is why R2R have not touched it (again who knows, they may have already cracked it), there is a chance.

 

sounds like R2R is now an ambassador for iLok as 95% of toys are actually for promoting their platform to make it a standard,

Here is the facts, every iLok app is compromised, like Eventide, Pulsar, UVI, PSP etc etc the issue with iLok is they are very well connected and act aggressively, but iLok will collapse if for example all these plugs are released at the same time (sooth2 and all of those, UAD, Neural DSP, SoundToys, Liquidsonics, Avid-Pro tools, Lexicon, Softube the n@zi scientists, Slate Digital,Exponential Audio, Nembrini Audio, Sonnox, PreSonus
JST audio, STL Tones etc etc, do at least 15-20 and iLok will collapse!

 

ilok will not collapse even if every product get cracked and most importantly get released.(just look at history of big DRM companies)
but in your list almost all of them use same type of ilok as falcon (even uad) but problem is only protools that use two newer kind of protection(warpwarden v5 and libfusion v12) and if they manage to do protools the whole catalog of ilok plugin will be released but if witches released all except protools most of the other one will upgrade to newer one and the situation will get kinda fucked up.
