    Here's a quick and easy way to get a accurate listing of all your Kontakt instrument versions WITHOUT having to mess with PITA nativeaccess, or internet connections etc...

    1. Grab the Nirsoft Registry Scanner, make a subfolder for it in your X64 programs folder and extract the archive
    2. grab this code below and paste it into a new notepad file

    Code:
    [General]
    ToolTipTimeAutoPop=-1
    ToolTipTimeInitial=10
    ToolTipTimeReshow=10
    ShowInfoTip=1
    ShowGridLines=0
    SaveFilterIndex=0
    MainFont=00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    ShowFoundDuringScan=1
    LookAtKeys=1
    LookAtValues=1
    LookAtData=1
    CaseSensitive=0
    AddKeyEntries=0

    3. Save the file to the reg Scanner folder you just made above with a file name of your choice and a file extension of .CFG...
    Ex. your_file_name.CFG

    4. Run RegScanner and from the main window click on File >> Load Configuration From File

    5. In the window select the file_name.CFG you just made above and run the scan

    6. the main file window will display the results of the scan and all the current Kontakt library versions are contained in the "DATA" column in the main window

    enjoy

    Open NEW FILE (blank) in NotePad >> copy the code from the window and paste into the new blank notepad file >> in NotePad "SAVE AS" filename.CFG (i just did it here in two seconds). Make certain that new .CFG file is in the same folder as RegScanner. Should work fine.

    ps.. Just for giggles, you do have the display of file extensions turned ON, yes?

    It can't. With Kontakt Portable all the information that goes into the registry for other versions is stored in:
    Kontakt_Portable_folder\UserData\Settings.cfg

    It's a regular text file

    Ok...when you get to the save-as, set the pull down menu to "all files". Then in the filename area backspace out the .txt or whatever is there, and write in YourFileName.cfg instead, and save the file...
