Well, if you were specifically making a point about indie plugin developers, you should've specified that, right? And since you mentioned indie plugin development, many solo devs work with Gumroad, and Gumroad itself has it's own regional precification.

I understand your point, and I believe most companies aren't interested in regional pricing because it's neither simple nor highly profitable to implement. That doesn't mean it's impossible or unsustainable, though, as you're making it out to be and as I've shown evidence to the contrary.

I know this is random. But I want to apologise to all of you!
After many of you pointed out, I realized, it might be me who is wrong here. I got too angry and spit too muchh unnecessary shit here.

Although I still think Soothe2 is expensive but I shouldn't be slamming them. As it's none of my business.

Once again! I am so sorry for creating this mess here with my immature comments.

When you go to work do you wonder why you don’t get paid more, I mean could you charge less for the work you do? Would you accept less for the value of your work? Or would you just give it away for free? Plugs don’t just get created overnight…there’s not one person to pay or salary shall we say. Or hours of work. Maybe Ferrari should make cars cheaper. I bought a 10m xlr cable recently at 1/4 of the price of a known brand, needless to say it was poor quality and doesn’t actually fit!

You must not have been around in the very early 00's when Waves Mercury bundle was 20k.

I guess it was all about the times when there was a scarcity of it. When Waves Mercury Bundle was 20k I bet there would be very few plugin companies.

Similarly Oeksound came up with Soothe2 when nobody was making "Resonance Suppressors" that's why there pricing might really be because of the innovations in the times when nobody was doing it. Acceptable I guess. It's an autonomous eq kinda like a modern tesla.

There weren't. And no-one ever paid 20K for it then. MSRP for audio software has been BS for decades. Plugin Alliance did not invent the "90% off discount".

The guys over at Joey Sturgis Tones and Drumforge make some epic plugins, and they don't cost much either. If you're looking for things that are slept on, but actually sound good, and give you results... give those guys a shot. I've been using them for years and own most of their products, and I'll continue to buy their new releases lol.
