starting around 0:17 . its a pluck bass but I cannot elaborate further, i'm basically trying to search for tutorials on how to create this sound && need to define it to find the correct videos

 

What synth were you going to use to do it? The actual bass portion is a pretty standard sounding bass guitar patch. I think you are maybe asking about the sort-of-dubstep sounding mid synth above it?

 

assuming youre not talking about the distorted bass drum and that transitional type sound on top of it @ 0:17, i can kind of figure it out by just hearing it sounds simple enough - sine or triangle wave thats pitched down, possibly a sub oscillator too, short attack decay and sustain on the amp envelope. sounds like some sort of FM ring type shit, maybe like a little wave distortion also like diode. definitely a short delay and phaser....let me try

alright, if you have Serum 2 this is a pretty close starting point. should be able to get the parameters on most synths of this kind



also the eq thats not shown is just boosting the lows a little
