yesterday i was successful with bridging a 32 bit VST to 64 bit to make it work in Audiogridder on my Macbook M4.

Very cool

I used the Jbridge 1.75 Demo. Everythings working fine.
Now i bought the Jbridge and its crashing when i want to close the plugin window with the activated Full Version.
My nerves are really at the end, because i spent already much time to figure out how it works.

I already wrote the Support, but this situation is very special and i dont know if i get support for this topic.

So the only thing, i can imagine is: The Full Version tries to save data, or store the Information somewhere, when i close the Plugin window -) CRASH
The Demo version doesn´t save, as stated in the info box, when running the demo.
I already made the Plugin folder and JBridge Folder to 777 Everyone full access.

Maybe someone has a idea, i really would like to use my very old VSTs again

I don´t know really why. But its working perfectly now.

i´m also very new.
Have mine since half year.
And it´s A LOT WORK!!!

I really struggled at the beginning, because many softwares are not compatible, Projects didn´t oad anymore etc.

but now it was really worth it.
i bought Softwares and plugins i really use and You can really use a lot of windows Softwares with Emulators like Crossover, Whisky, Jbridge etc.

I´m also playing my Windows Games in Crossover on the Mac, really cool

 

Hi, thanks for your tut post, great read. By the way since you are on this cracking path, how is the performance of running most cracked VSTs on the VM Windows like that, versus any newest windows laptop.

I knew the Windows can handle these quite good now, but the fan noise, battery life, and all of other stuffs quite dragging me to the Mac side

 

TBH I think it's not so easy with cracked Plugins on Mac.
Sure there are a lot.
But the ones I wanted and needed in my Projects were not available.
So I started to limit myself.

I bought the synths I need ( rent to own)
Changed my plugins to other brands and bought some in sale.

I think running a VM for music is not good.
You loose a lot of performance.

It takes some time.
But than you start to forget windows. You don't need it anymore.
Get use to the OSX. Is superior to windows for audio
