Bear with me, I was 1 or 2 years old at the time, so I didn't know my words that well. However, the one thing I memorized vividly, is the tune of the song. Like Lacrimosa Dominae, I couldn't make out the words - due to it being in what sounded like a different language, but the tune is what my brain held onto more than anything else about the mystery song in question.

I'm 100% certain this is a song, because the Mix Tape that played this song back in my childhood day also contained My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. Therefore, it was either made and published in the 80s or the 90s.

Here is the tune of the track I managed to reconstruct: https://onlinesequencer.net/4679585

It has the same tempo as Pyramid by Charice. - It is a slow song. The tempo here isn't perfect, but it should at least give you a general understanding of the notes utilized. Maybe this was in a foreign language. It has male voice vocals. (Note, I'm trying to sound out what the lyrics could've said, so expect some nonsense words) "shoop" (Note F5), "marry crystal" (Notes A#4 G#4 G#4 G#4).

Maybe it's techno. I forgot what type of musical instruments sound like.

I can't focus on the sequence, however...

    Could be
    Era - Ameno (1996)
    or
    Datura - Angeli Domini (1995)

    Or
    Enigma - Sadeness (1990) - much older
    and many others from Enigma

    Have a check.

BTW that was from 1997, it can't be 80's, but only from 1997 up.

If whoever made the mix tape put Celine Dion on it, I think we can safely assume it likely isn't an underground or obscure song. So going on that, Shazam, or SoundHound, or any of the other big ones shouldn't have a problem identifying this. If they all fail, perhaps 24 month old you wasn't all that sharp on the deets. That you are 5-10 years off the timeline of when Celine unleashed that hell upon us would also suggest that whatever memory there was has long been replaced by a melody you unconsciously created, which also lines up with how research currently understands longterm memory.
