    RIP Sly We cannot escape our fate of aging no matter how young we may feel mentally and at heart, time takes it's toll.

    I've always wondered why God kept him around for so long. I also believe the only reason George Clinton is still around is because he loves the stage so much. He's already sitting down a great deal of his time while he performs. Plus he's already retired twice in the past 5 years. I'm sure we'll all say goodby to Dr. Funkenstien once he stops performing.
    However I would like to thank Sly for the music and following Dr. King's dream of black, white & females in his band Andy powerful Uncle Lord Larry Graham on Bass!
    Thanx Sly. You'll be missed my brotha. Rest In Peace.
