Screw KVR.....lately their mods have become hardcore audio police. They're totally kissing the big Dev's asses. I got several warnings after telling the TRUTH about some of NI's & IK's BS business practices. I got warned a couple of time and now the f#ckers have banned me for 6 months. I shot off a message to their Gestapo:

 

Maybe it's time to move on? Not the first time they suspend you, right?

 

I never go to kvr, no point.

Every ban complainer always have one thing in common regardless on whether it's a game, social media or some music forums: they never show what got them banned in the first place.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend last year:
Him: I got chat banned from League of Legends.
Me: what did you say?
Him: I don't even type in chat
Me: then how you got banned in the first place? I know they tell you what you said that resulted in a ban
Him: how else could I tell people to play the game without using the chat?

You can guess what "telling people to play" can be like.

What good is a forum that kisses corporate ass? There's no way in hell anyone will get a accurate review or straight talk about anything in that landscape.

 

KVR is system propaganda: why would you want to use that site?

 

Don't tell the Truths. Nobody knows what the real Truth is. Everyone is just guessing. Instead, act like a millionaire. They don't seek the Truths.

yah KVR is whack. I love AS, because we can generally speak pretty freely. Very appreciative to all who keep things running hear, and the community itself.

 

You should know better mate, they don't want your truth. They want their sponsors' "truth", patrons and cash adverts. Just fuck em dude. Nothing interesting there anyway apart perhaps for a database of vsts.

I only use it as a resource for free / paid plugins from devs, both in their database and the (free) news feed.

Also the trickle of free preset patches for specific plugins.

They sure do love drama over there. It always cracks me up when I remember a thread I read a while back where people were basically claiming that Crave EQ sounded so much cleaner than Pro-Q 3. What a funny place.

There are plenty of forums that allow one to state their political opinions. I never talk politics on audio forums.......unless it's to say how badly the countries of IK Multimedia, Native Instruments, etc are run.......LOL

 

Whenever someone claims to tell the TRUTH with a capital TRUTH, they're full of shit. And that's the TRUTH.

 

When I google for audio information, I probably get a top result popping up from that site about 1 in 100 times.

Most of the time I get a result from there, it will be from only there; and it is because that website is the place where some plugin went and died.

 

As soon as there's any backlash or criticism, we hear these coinages:
Shit, audio police, ass, shitty, jerk, Gestapo
