how do you increase the difference of the velocity heights

    after you draw in velocities for midi notes, is there a way to increase the difference between them all at once? so the lower in height to go lower and the higher to go higher? thanks

    Compress and expand midi data. Some DAW (Cubase) can do it easily, curious if Reaper can do it natively.

    The "note properties" window (Ctrl-F2 with my settings) accepts math operations (* = multiplication, / = division, +/- = addition/subtraction).

    An example to expand the dynamic range:

    - Mark your notes
    - Open the note properties window, enter /3 for velocity and apply.
    - Open note properties, enter -8 and apply.
    - Open properties, enter *4 and apply.

    Maybe make a macro out of this.

    Edit: Forgot to mention that the script requires Lokasenna Gui library, so check ur action list, if u have it and the script still doesnt work check if u have this Script "Set Lokasenna_GUI v2 library path.lua" run it, it will set the path.
