hi, i thought this was simple,but as always,its never easy syndrome kicks in.
done a quick google and the suggested method does not work for me i.e select track then select the bottom track click and shift
what is the current procedure for this (cubase 14 pro) pc, i want to select a several tracks, and put in a folder

Creating a Folder Track and Moving Selected Tracks into It

1. Select the Tracks: Click on the first track, then hold Shift and click on the last track in the range you want to select. Alternatively, hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and click to select multiple tracks individually.
   
   
2. Create a Folder Track:
   • Right-click on one of the selected tracks.
     
     
   • From the context menu, choose "Move Selected Tracks to New Folder".
   This action will create a new folder track and automatically move the selected tracks into it.
   
   
3. Alternatively, Use the Project Menu:
   • Go to the Project menu at the top of the screen.
     
     
   • Navigate to Track Folding and select "Move Selected Tracks to New Folder"
   This method achieves the same result as the right-click context menu option.

so there is no way of moving the tracks to an already created folder?
hold on,would u believe i was using shift on wrong keyboard! i have 2 pcs in the room and was using shift on other one!
now can just drag all selected to the folder!
