Hi everyone these are 2 projects,that are in Work In Process mode,not by any means finished/finalized.

What do you guys think ? feedback much appreciated,cheers & enjoy! :

 

Unfortunately i dont play games anymore, but i would enjoy these tracks in some kind of sci-fi version of Lara Croft, transients and the sonics are just right, kinda "dry" but real. ;)

I would've stopped listening by a bout 20 secs, but you wanted advice.

way too long wiv the drums, start it with that little bass that comes in first, then bring drums, then the arp that enters later, then drop bass, that in itself will force you to add more as you progress, needs more parts and needs more intervals with the arp. If you're not adverse to samples grab my two free packs. think they're all in DM or Dmaj, start with a bass from one of them, or, do your own, use only these intervals/notes, D F A, place only those on every other beat of a two bar loop, so we got eight notes in each bar, stay with just those eight notes, and than move some around into the spaces between 'til you dig it, if it sounds great, job done, if not, keep their position, but move them onto other intervals in the scale, E G B C repeat for all the next parts, bingo, done and dusted eh

you need to be more discerning, some combinations of intervals aren't as strong as others, generally, all amateurs etc need to improve their voice leading, thats wot makes hits, nothing else, as you progress and it sounds good, dont settle, try some other notes/intervals, any better? if not go back to your best one, but you always need to look, cos there will always be an excellent note amongst them, you need to be able to hear that, good luck
