Hi all

Recently, a lot of new plug-ins have appeared on my sister's site, which are based on ilok 3. Apple Silicon (ARM). Unfortunately, they only work in AU format. I know it's also because of the DAW that the encoding is different. Will the VST3 version appear as Guiseppe did... it means it can work. What do you think about that?

Please note: These plugins are released as ARM-only AU (Audio Unit) versions.

This decision was made because AU validation passes consistently and reliably under this architecture.
While we also tested VST3 builds, they proved stable only within Cubase.
The reason lies in how different DAWs handle plugin validation and security checks.

So no vst3 for now, Use patchwork if really required. Personally if i had to choose, im choosing AU anyday over vst3. apart from 1-2 DAW's every other accepts AU's and is much more stable

 

I saw NFO, I hope that Guiseppe, like last time, will enable users like me who use Cubase to be able to work without patchwork.
